Long time STL and SGF Cards prob remember his signs from the better days of the Cardinals in his trademark style. Also, a big Missouri State fan.
He was spicy when needed, so there was an unwritten rule of FSMW, etc that he was kinda not put on the broadcast at some point. True fan for sure.
I have some old games on DVD. And noticed him always down the RF line with funny signs with the same font many times.
Some of them were memorable.
“Carpenter Has All The Tools”
“Houston You Have A Problem”
“We Messed With Texas”
Hit it to the pitcher
Sat a few rows behind this guy once & he refused to move his signs to let a woman & her young son through to their seats. Made them walk back up & around to the other side of the section.
I think he owned a Dominos. RIP
He was a great guy. He was also a member of the Blues Brothers at the Blues games.
Damn I used to go to Missouri State basketball games as a kid like 15 years ago and he was “the sign man” there too. Sometimes I still think about his “JJ Who” sign he would hold up for Blake Ahearn when I see JJ Reddick on TV lol
