The 49ers in their loss to Jacksonville today pretty much put together a guide for how to lose a football game. They lost a turnover margin 4-0. They were very sloppy and dropped six passes and those were momentum changing moments led to turnovers and points for the opposition. The 49ers were one of three in the red zone as the red zone wos continue and they gave up an 87yd punt return for a touchdown. And Jacksonville was able to capitalize in some of these big spots after the Luke Ferrell fumble. Travis ETN 48 yard touchdown. Kendrick Bourne drop next play touchdown for Jacksonville. And so while the Niners put together an offensive performance which featured nearly 400 yards of offense, more than six yards per play, they made it impossible for themselves to win this game and still they had an opportunity late. But Brock Pury was also really bad in this game. I don’t think he looked 100% healthy with that turf toe. And unfortunately for him and the ners, quick turnaround playing the Rams on Thursday. I just don’t think that he could drive the ball all that well, leading to a lot of overthrows.

  1. With 4 turn overs and everything that was going on with the niners is was a miracle that we lost only by 5 and actually still had a chance there to win before his last fumble to win it 😲. When it should have probably been a worse or even a blowout.

  7. Ugly game, but the fact that we still had a chance at the end blows my mind. Fred Warner has this team on his back right now, because 6 dropped passes is absurd, and there was only one drop that I give an exception to which was CMC downfield. Then he dropped one 5 yards away. Special teams is so sloppy and not even trying, and on offense Ricky is the only dude that seems to be taking things seriously

  9. Offense and special teams had big mistakes yet we still had a chance to win. That penalty to negate the INT was BS as well. We still got a good chance at winning this division.

  16. We lost. Next game on Thursday against the Rams. Hopefully Brock got the rust knocked off and he’ll have a better game. In the meantime, I hope GM Lynch is talking to Cincinnati about trading for Hendrickson right now and doesn’t get off the phone until it’s done and he’s on a Redeye to SF and will meet with his new Teammates and he has a press conference!!! Get it done Lynch!!!!

  17. The defense kept the team in the game, but the offense plus the special teams was the reason why we lost his game hopefully they can correct their mistakes play better. Go 49ers! Beat L.A ## 🏈

Running mccafrey into the ground…bad play calls…can't get any pressure on the QB..and purdy looked awful….I know we were 3 -0 but I didn't feel great bout this team..also Everytime we throw the ball to PEARSALL he catches it…he should be treated like the Vikings treat Justin Jefferson .or the rams with Luka…he needs double digit targets every game

  28. that bourne drop on third down was brutal. next play the jags return the punt for a td. the kick return before half giving up 3 was bad too. second half the d looked much imporved but the drops didnt stop. the PI call on stout was a big blow as well. we have 0 vertical threats on this team. the fact were 3-1 is as blessing.

  31. They know Bosa’s out for the year get some help now. There’s no need to see how will do with out him. This team needs to stop missing opportunities they can’t waste this year away. Act now fill in the gaps.

  32. Purdy sucked but they sucked right along with him. Bourne made a catastrophic drop on what would have been a huge play, which was followed right up by a punt return for a TD.
