Browns are Browning, Ravens are 1-3, and we won’t play Burrow. Could we win the North for the first time in 5 years?

Browns are Browning, Ravens are 1-3, and we won’t play Burrow. I don’t want to jynx anything, but things are looking up, Milhouse.

Add the point differential stat to this chart. It’s pretty fucking funny.
It’s very possible. If you told me we were fighting to sneak into the Wild Card in Week 18 though I would totally believe it.
Ravens are overrated because of how good Lamar is. That defense isn’t good, and their Oline isn’t great either. But the real issue is their coaching. They have Henry and run the ball 4 times in a half because their Oline is that bad? Yikes.
We could. Our first two wins were smoke and mirrors whereas today we actually were unlucky and still won the game, dominating in the KPIs that matter. It depends on if the Defense and Oline keep trending positively, but we could absolutely be a division winning caliber squad.
It’s week 4 – hold off on that. Though BAL defense looks pretty bad, CIN put all their chips on ‘Offense’ and Burrow is hurt, and CLE… well, it was surprising they won that one game.
We’ve been winning ugly in various ways but they still count so anything’s possible.
Ravens had a brutal schedule to start the year, meanwhile ours is about to ramp up in difficulty. It’s really going to come down to our division record I think. I predict we will need to have at least a winning division record at 4-2 in order to take the divisions, which means sweeping one AFC north team while splitting with the other 2.
Raven are still pretty good.. They have played a killer schedule and lost close games in Buffalo and to Detroit. Today was a fluke IMO.. Lamar got hurt, and they had other injuries.
Yep. The division is trash.
I’m thrilled with the win and improvement, but why is it we can never put teams away? We had a 3 score lead in the second half yet my butthole was still tight in the final minute. Every steeler game is like this
I fuckin hope so! Go Steelers!!!
Never overlook the Ratbirds
We have a coach that leads his teams to lose to teams with losing records. Just a year or two ago he lost to two teams with 2-10 records just days apart in embarrassing yet expected fashion for himself. I wouldn’t ever count out the possibility to them losing to all of those teams. The worse they are and more injuries they have, the more likely they whoop the Steelers.
The Bengals are also Browning
Every time when it seems like this is going to be the case we get pretty far into the season all high on hope and then we lose like 4 of the last 6 games!
I think in order for that to be realistic, the run game has to become consistent. This entire offense is built on it, and without it, we aren’t going to win enough games against better competition and the divisional matchups.
Hopefully 2025 is a year where this team is playing it’s best ball in December and January, rather than peaking in October and fizzling out. That offensive line will determine how far we go.
Really too early to say imo. We’re generally the most steady team in the division as far as individual performances go. The shit that went wrong last week usually goes wrong again, and the luck that bails us out usually bails us out again too. The issue is the ravens are always all over the place until the midway point then they explode and become one of the best teams in the AFC. If we can actually trend up like we did today, and if the Ravens D actually sucks that bad there’s a chance though.
No one ever wins the north 3 years in a row
Gotta play the games
We still have to face all the tonight teams the Ravens have already played. It’s wayyy too early for that
Let’s not jinx it.
We’re going 9-8 and I don’t like saying that
Have you learned nothing from years prior???
Honestly no one has a clue. The second half of the schedule is pretty tough, and as much as the Ravens look bad atm, I think Lamar and Henry will eat up the Steelers defense. Either way, it’s important that while Burrow is out and Ravens lose games that Steelers get themselves as many wins as possible so they have a cushion in the second half of the season.
Realistically I could see Steelers winning the next 2 games, then losing 7 of the remaining 11. Meaning they’d end with a 9-8 record.
I mean the bengals are gonna be browning too….
North is the most wide open it has been in a good while
im not putting stock in this team till they beat teams like the ravens and bills we won today but honestly who tf cares hopefully these guys get even better as they should
Shut up. Don’t jinx us. It’s week 4.
Ravens are 1-3 because they lost to Bills, Chiefs and Lions. They are a good team and they will comeback from this.
We are 3-1 against Jets, Seahawks, Patriots and Vikings. We have to keep getting better for the late season gauntlet
I think that we could, but I know that Baltimore will end up turning their season around like they always do. They just played three of the best teams in the league and they are pretty banged up.
We definitely put ourselves in a good spot winning three out of four, but it’s way too early to write Baltimore off. They usually start slow, and end up catching up to us later in the season when Tomlin hits his every winter, late season slump.
Dude it’s week 4. We are not nearly good as our record would suggest and the ravens are not as bad as their’s does. I could go into great detail about both of those things but it’s bed time.
very shaky and have lost to the only decent team. this team is absolutely in contention for the division, but it may also lose to the browns here soon. way too early.
Season is like 1/4 over. Look back on every other season. Are teams the same in September as they are in January? No.
Winning the North isn’t some end goal. If we plan to win the North it should be on the way to a Super Bowl. Otherwise it just makes the following year harder.
Even if we do, I think we’re going 10-7. The standard is the standard.
3-1 is nothing, 4 games is less than 25% of the season. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with both sides of the ball but I’m not ready to crown ourselves of anything yet
Have another beer!
We started pretty good last season too.
Anything is possible
How quickly people forget classic steeler 1-4 or 0-5 runs within season. 🤔
It’s a step in the right direction if we stumble into the division title and lose a playoff game at home, right?
/s
Browns D is going to be a nightmare
Uh have you seen us play the last four games?
Bengals are Browning too
Actually, the Bengals are Browning, not the Browns. Remember, Burrow’s out for 3+ months.
Yeah this is wild, I’ve seen the Browns Brown, and I’ve seen the Bengals Brown, but the Ravens don’t usually Brown till either they play us or play in the playoffs, this is early for them.
Friendly reminder that we started last season 4-2 then Tomlin benched the quarterback so plenty of time for him to screw us up
Once again, the Steelers could win the division by default. Then lose in the first round of the playoffs…like usual
