If India and Massey are starters next season we’re cooked
India and Massey? I’d rather have Frazier over both of them.
According to Fangraphs, Cross isn’t considered a prospect anymore.
Running back Massey/India and mediocre OFs is how you end up in this exact same spot
At this point I’d be shocked if Cross gets called up next year, if at all
Kyle Schwarber in LF
Kyle Isbel is a valuable centerfielder.
My dude. Carter jensen is not an 8 hole hitter. This is certifiably insane.
This lineup does not inspire me but it is very hopeful which I appreciate
.500-ish.
If we don’t acquire offense in some form, we can’t move forward, or perhaps even hold ground. If there are 10 priorities for the offseason, 11 of them need to be offense.
I think we need to get a free agent bat at either LF or 2nd base. And I would almost prefer a 2nd baseman. Let Yaz and if Tolbert can get his defense together play left if we can’t get two free agents
JAC ain’t batting clean-up on opening day next year. Hopefully he earns his way there during the season.
Jac Omaha, India gone, CF Israel.😏
Seems a little early lolol
Always makes me laugh when someone posts something, asks for thoughts, then argues with everyone’s thoughts.
My first thought – why have you added nothing from outside the org – and why would you hit Cags cleanup opening day?
You have made the team worse than this season.
You’re crazy if you think we’re running India back to the outfield. If it’s him and Massey both in the lineup, Massey will be the LF
Isbel is a plus defender and an above average 9-hole hitter. Is Javier Vaz really an upgrade?
Michael Massey should be the starting second baseman and we should be happy about that. I do not understand the constant slander. He needs to be healthier. Thats a clear knock, but its the only knock.
Last year he was one of the best hitting 2Bs in the league. He has the batted ball data to suggest that is true. His second half this year, prior to today, he hit 339/381/441. Thats an 822 OPS.
He had a bad month and a half to start the year while battling injuries. He went to Omaha to rehab and kept getting hit by pitches and shit like that to slow his comeback.
He is 100% in the fold next year to start against basically every righty. And he absolutely should be. And the constant “Massey is trash” takes on this sub, and this sub alone, are a joke.
Is he likely a perennial allstar? Probably not. But hes a cheap controllable bat that when healthy is near the top of his position.
Javy Vaz isn’t starting opening day
It would be a disaster if this was our opening day starting lineup
Vaz has been in AA for three years and had an OPS there of .685 last year, he may never be big league ready let alone starting every day
Prefer:
1. Garcia
2. Bobby Baseball
3. Pasquatch
4. El Capitan
5. Jac (Rf)
6. Carter Jensen (dh)
7. Frazier (LF)
8. Massey (2B)
9. Isabella (CF)
Frazier solid LF option. Massey finished season very strong. Hopefully we can move India
So another .500 roster, got it.
Lumber Jac is overrated
Hmmm this is a terrible projection. I feel like you don’t watch the Royals
Why wouldn’t we bring Yaz back. I don’t think Isbel is the answer and unless Massey plays like he did in the postseason I don’t think he earns a spot. We have a lot of holes that need to be filled in the outfield. Jac needs work. India should be an everyday 2nd baseman.
