  1. lol people in the gameday thread really acting like Worthy pushed off. Absolutely shook #3 out of his shoes 😂

More importantly though, this clip should give fans a lot of hope about Worthy’s future. He’s working on his route running, he fought off #3’s contact, not that this was a hard catch, but he is demonstrating good hands as well.

Not going to say Worthy will develop into a super star or something, but definitely on the path towards being a solid WR 1/2 depending on usage/scheme.

  2. My favorite part is actually at the end of this play, because not only does he run a dirty route, but he pulls that little cut back to get out of bounds and avoids taking a hit. Just goes to show that his athleticism isn’t the only reason we like him. He’s a pretty intelligent player, and I think that’s why this coaching staff and Pat trust him.

  3. One thing that really stood out from the footage I saw from training camp was Worthy’s routes looked really crisp and he was cooking McDuffie at times. His speed makes him extremely dangerous downfield so if he gets a clean release and continue to run crisp routes he is going get free yards and will be a major problem for defenses.

  4. When I saw this live I was pointing at the screen laughing and yelling like a child. So good to see the Chiefs offense actually winning against coverage

  5. This is so much of what we were missing: someone who can make plays with their legs at an elite level. Travis and Juju can, but they’re older and not as fast and it’s just not as much of a strong suit for the other guys.

  6. Yesterday could genuinely be a career defining day for Xavier. The offense needing juice, you return from an injury and in your season debut (essentially) KC has its best offensive day in years with you doing the major contributor? If momentum is real Worthy is going to the moon this season.
