very Carson WCY game. 30 of 46, 350 yards, two touchdowns. That looks great. You’ll take that. But the turnovers were an issue. He took six sacks today. I felt like, you know, obviously some of those weren’t all on him. Um the offensive line was just getting their ass handed to him up front. Um actually caught seven sacks today for Carson Wentz, but he was inaccurate with the football a couple times. Um clearly turnovers were an issue today. Like the two picks he threw were bad. Um he also lost a fumble today which he got lucky that it didn’t land in the Steelers lap but he he just wasn’t good enough and you know he is a backup quarterback and I think today’s performance put the whole conversation of you know who’s the quarterback after the buy once JJ is healthy. It is no uh no doubt JJ McCarthy. You got to let that kid develop. We know what Wentz is. This is who he is.

I fully disagree. Any QB needs a online. He's not a QB back up. JJ is a zero experience noob that can not lead the team to any more than 6 victory's. Get real a college idiot cannot play at the NFL level. Online was missing 3 people….Damn be real for once

In my opinion, Carson wins should be over JJ McCarthy McCarthy is good but he is very inaccurate. We at least have an accurate person with Carson on QB and he’s just more reliable. He is a lot more. There’s a lot more experience. I feel like Carson wants us to the playoffs or at least record

I want to see what Brosmer brings to the table if we're going to lose with Wentz anyway. Might as well give the young man a chance. He has a way better arm than Wentz and he's younger and more agile
Siepman you're blinded by wanting so badly to have a young franchise QB. McCarthy wasn't what was advertised and that's a huge red flag. His biggest strengths were being a highly polished, NFL ready QB that was accurate and with good decision making and these would offset his lack of arm talent and not being an elite runner. Well he is far from polished, is highly inaccurate and has shown poor, even reckless, decision making. This is a big deal because he doesn't have those elite physical traits to fall back on. So what does he have? Not much, he's Jake Browning 2.0.
Bottom line for me is if we have a questionable Oline then we need a QB with legs that can evade the sack and gain some yards on the ground

Your right Patrick. I can't wait until McCarthy gets back. Even though I like Wentz and I'm rooting for him while he's playing. But the starting Job belongs to JJ and always has.
Everyone calm down, please! Carson Wentz is a solid backup quarterback, JJ McCarthy is the starter, end of story! McCarthy just needs to be healthy and develop as an NFL quarterback, let's be patient with him. I'm personally not asking McCarthy to be the next Patrick Mahomes or Jalen Hurts, just be a healthy and productive JJ McCarthy. The offensive line on the other hand, extreme red flags, big time!
Nick Mullens put up yards when playing for us as well. Our system will allow for that if Darrisaw plays. McCarthy didn't have Darrisaw for either of his games and no qb we have had has had success when Darrisaw is out. Darnold fell apart last season and Darrisaw was out when he fell apart. McCarthy will be just fine when we can protect him
Wentz is not bad.. not great elite type of thing but you seen him shine vs the bengals… I dont understand why the fing o line cant step their game up!!!!

OMG, you have to stop being McCarthy's hype squad leading. I have hope that he will be the franchise QB but putting him out there with O-line problems that this team has is just going to make him into another David Carr or worse. And let's be real the first interception yesterday was on tipped ball that was a good play by the defensive player. The second one was also tipped but totally on Wentz. And he definitely needs to improve on his accuracy.

Oline is a problem yes but offensive play calling is not superb. We go for the big plays too often. We play a lot of conservative football. It takes too long for play calls..
If the offensive line wouldn't be injury prone Carson Wentz would be just fine. J.J. McCarthy is going to be running for his life also. Just my thoughts.
Brother, the o-line is currently on pace for the 3rd worst sack percentage of any team in the last 30 years. Wentz vs JJ don't even matter right now, nobody is going to perform with that.

My prediction: Wentz will play against the Browns and we’ll eke out a 13-10 win with a couple of turnovers, the defense will keep us in the game and Will the Thrill will come through. The we get a bye week then JJ returns, and plays poorly until week 14 when we bench him for Wentz/Brosmer. We keep JJ one more year as a backup and sign back Darnold.
