This reads weird to me. Is…Logan not also hungry for wins?
Honestly the players talking so highly of Bob made me worried he wouldn’t be fired. Not to say I wanted Bob gone, but I didn’t want the choice to be swayed by the players because of course they’re not thinking about the bigger picture. They just want to play with who they like

To me this seems like he is sad to see Bob go personally but understands that it was done because the team didn’t win.
Webb is such a great ambassador for Giants baseball. I hope he’s a lifelong Giant.
Sorry Logan but the perception from fans is he sat on his hands while the season slipped away.

Alot of weird quotes surrounding the firing of Bob Melvin. The front office is hungry for wins? How about the players? How about the fans that donate plasma and take out a loan so they can buy a beer and some garlic fries and watch a mediocre baseball team.
Can we just say it Bob Mel in did a shitty job (under . 500) no. Playoffs in 2 years . 1-15 at home at one point this year.
Good riddance. now let’s go get some manager with a red ass that lights a fire and brings some God damn enthusiasm and excellence back to SF Giants baseball.
