Congratulations, you did the bare minimum 👏

  1. No joke. Especially with Clay Martin’s crew on the game. They love their presnap and holding penalties, especially on 3rd down.

  2. Give credit where credit is due. Whole offense executed at a high level and the coaches play calling was top notch.

  3. Guys executed well in the trenches, for sure. Baltimore is a dumpster fire on the line but still, nice to see some sharp offensive plays happening.

  4. The Ravens D-Line was so bad he didn’t need to line up deep. I was watching the line every time we got a shot straight down the line, and he was lining up correctly every time.

  5. Maybe they finally gave his partners the job of telling him where to put his body. Like “yep you’re good dude right where you are. “

  6. Maybe they made a deal with Jawaan where every time he gets through a game without any illegal formation penalties they put up a smiley sun sticker on the game calendar, but if he loses us yards for something dumb, he gets a rainy cloud sticker. If he can save up at least 10 smiley sun stickers by the end of the season, he can pick out a prize from the toy chest.

  7. the irony is the refs were looking for it and called the illegal formation penalty on one of the Ravens’ linemen.

  8. appreciate it, also appreciate the refs letting the game be played by the players for the most part

that said, we can’t be doing appreciation posts for people not getting in their cars drunk and driving off a bridge; like, it’s great you didn’t do that, but at the same time not doing that should be the standard not something that happens so rarely we need to applaud it (people who clap when the plane lands)

  9. I mean the leading player in the NFL in penalties goes 1 week without one so…. Eh I guess. Way to not be terrible for one week Jawaan.

  10. I’m glad someone posted this. He had a great game and seems like he’s trying to get better. Good for him.

  11. I know a lot of time it is on him, but honestly it does feel like he is under a microscope from the refs where he is getting watched like a hawk.

Probably wouldn’t be getting as many penalties if he wasn’t the poster child of the league opener versus Detroit the year they signed him.
