Being a Mets/Jets fan is my family’s intergenerational trauma
I wanna die
“All three facets dominated the Jets”
We literally outgained them you knob
Time to clean house again
People will blame the refs, and they certainly played a role, but we’re the worst coached team in the league.
You could relegate the Jets to the UFL and they’d still be terrible
We would’ve won without the refs bias AND we are an embarrassment of a team that didn’t deserve to win. Both can be and are true.
I’m not even a Jets fan and I know you guys were getting fucked
I think my original prediction of 4 wins is too high…
I know its been only 4 weeks but holy shit, this whole coaching staff looks awful, amateurish, how do you guys expect these guys to Last multiple years here??? I would fire them by midseason if I was the owner.
Lets recap, on Offense: 1 gameplan and 1 gameplan only, never go away from it, even if other stuff works, misscomunitation all over the line, they dont know Who to Block or not, penalties all over the game, hall is killing it?? Take him out.
On defense: misscomunitation on the backside, no one is on the same Page, cant tackle for shit, third down and 50?? Insta penalty or 51 Yard completion, cant tackle for shit!!!, never adapt, never bench underperformers.
Special teams: fumbles for days, unispiring returns.
PENALTIES EVERYWHERE!!!, how do you expect me to like this coaching staff??

The coaching staff has been very uninspiring thus far
Kill Joe Namath
How do I even watch this team? How do I muster up the strength to put this team on my television every week? I’ll never have an answer to that. Every week I set aside 3 hours where I repeatedly get kicked in the balls, and I know no matter how much it hurts I’ll always be back the next week like clockwork.
I can break down specifics from this game like ball security, constantly letting offenses convert third and longs, our complete lack of discipline, etc. At the end of the day it’s just exhausting cause it always leads to the same result: the jets find ways to lose football games. No matter what regime is in place, who’s at QB, or what talent is on the roster, the Jets just lose.
It absolutely breaks my heart that we as Jets fans don’t get to enjoy our team play football. We are a loyal and passionate fanbase, and we deserve a FAR better product than we receive. I tell myself that one day the pain will all be worth it but I can’t help but feel like a man dying of thirst in a desert seeing a mirage water in the distance.
Oh well, I guess there’s always next year.
New coach same problems. Not sure why I waste my time watching this team shoot themselves in the foot every week.
What really gets me is that this team would be 3-1 with one fewer turnover each game. The Gipson fumble resulted in a touchdown, the end of half interception resulted in a touchdown, the Allen fumble cost us 7 points which would put us ahead. This team should not be 0-4, yet they just keep finding ways to lose. I just don’t get it, man.
Fuck the dolphins. Rapist fish that can’t breathe underwater. 0 redeeming qualities
Season over before October again lmao fuck
I hope Woody Johnson is in the Epstein files.
Run game was going great, passing actually wasn’t terrible but penalties and play calls were fucking awful. Bring me back to week 1.
Mason Taylor looks like he will be really good. GW is THAT DUDE.
We are pathetic boys
0 defensive turnovers in 4 games. A whopping 2 sacks in the last 3 games. Even being 💩 all these years, at least the defense would show up… damn
Justin fields has never won a game when the opposing team score more than 21 points.
And there are people saying we should build around him.
I think its time people start getting their feelings hurt in the film room
Kinda embarrassing for the Phins that it was only a six-point game, considering how awful we are and how the refs wore Miami uniforms for most of the game.
I’ve finally reached the point where I don’t care anymore and it feels really freeing
They need to do a complete reset, everyone except sauce and garret is expendable. Strip this team bare and load up on picks for the next few years.
Least enjoyable game of football ive had the displeasure of watching in forever. Fuck this team
Luckily Justin fields has plenty of experience leading a team to the no.1 draft pick, he’s a quarter away there now
Hire Saleh
You know how hard it is to be this awful for 10 straight seasons? The team we were playing tonight hired a bad HC picked the wrong QB fucked up several trades completely fucked their cap and still made the playoffs a few times.
Listen, I’m not trying to be overly reactionary. But Glenn might need to have the hot seat cranked up. You can’t have 3 turnovers and 100 yards in penalties. That’s not ever going to result in wins and is a direct reflection on coaching.
– Fumbles happen. The penalties shouldn’t. Beating themselves. Inexcusable
– The referees… fucking disgraceful. Quite comfortably the worst OPI call I’ve seen in a very long time. Takes the TD away from Garrett, and Fields gets tackled out of bounds, no call. And the bullshit personal foul on Tua. And missing the blatant late hit on Mason Taylor. Absolutely fucking dreadful
– Fields, Wilson, and Mason Taylor did what they could. Proud of them
– Can’t beat yourselves. The Jets did that tonight. Be better than that
Having two teams to represent NYC was a mistake. Merge us with the giants and give another city a team. Fuck it.
The WORST FRANCHISE IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS
The special teams tonight was arguably the worst part.
How do you not know…
1) to let the ball go out of bounds on a kickoff.
2) to let the punt bounce at the 2 yard line.
These are the basic rules of the only 2 plays youre on the team to do.
It might be time for me to quit this team
Glenn is right, they aren’t the same old jets. They are worse than the same old jets
Game recap in haiku format:
We are terrible
Hate my dad for this fandom
Investigate refs
Jets paid Allen Lazard 44 million dollars.
For a fucking bum.
Like 4 or 5 fumbles in the game and the jets recover zero of them what a shock
Once Allen fumbled at the goal line on the first possession, I just knew this game was FUBAR.
Who fair catches a punt on the 3 yard line?
This one got me gents. Every game so far has sucked, especially Buffalo cuz I went to MetLife and had absolutely nothing to cheer for and left by the early 4th quarter. Still I accepted that we just can’t compete with that strong of a team. But this game today got me. This team is fucking cursed. Whether it’s us being poorly coached, roster sucking, getting unlucky/injured, or refs screwing us, nothing ever goes our way. I haven’t had much fun watching the NFL my whole adult life and football is my favorite sport. This fucking sucks. I feel goofy and childish for still letting this team bring my mood down, but a couple of times a year it really does. That’s all. Just wanted to vent
We’re not the same old jets, we’re worse
Thought to myself yesterday ‘it can’t get lower than right now after the mets collapse’. Thanks Jets, for answering that question resoundingly.
