Kevin O’Connell IS DRIVING ME CRAZY! #shorts #minnesotavikings

What still drives me crazy about Kevin Oonnell is that he just refuses to change his uh philosophy and his bread and butter because we know KOC’s bread and butter. It’s those deep, you know, long routes where it’s mainly attacking over the middle of the field. Like we see Justin Jefferson, he runs those deep ends. He runs those deep crossers over and over again. So that’s KOC’s bread and butter. But again, if you take that away, if you force him to coach with one hand behind his back where his offensive line isn’t protecting or maybe his quarterback has happy feet, he can’t adjust. He can’t say, “I’m going to flip a switch and I’m going to start acting like Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers where it’s like, all right, we got Hughes check, we got McCaffrey, we’re just going to get downhill and run the football and give our offensive lineman a break.” He doesn’t do that. He still expects his offensive lineman to hold up for 3 to 5 seconds every play. There’s no quick passing game still. There is no run game. And it’s just the same issues with Kevin Oonnell keep on coming to the surface and it’s just driving me mad.

  1. Everyone thought Brad Childress was stubborn? Kevin O’Connell hey hold my beer please! Guy is over hyped and can’t be found in big games! Harbaugh was the pick not this clown

  2. Just remember we had Zimmerman, I love KOC, nobody is perfect but he is damn close for a HC, players love playing for him, he makes qb’s look good….

He has more upside than down, but go ahead and nitpick w.e yall want

  3. Wasting away Jefferson’s talent and waiting for a QB and something exciting to start happening? Frustrating as F..k to hear kOC talk but nothing ever happens 🤷🏻‍♂️🏈

  4. Dude there is not a coach in the NFL that could do much with the way the offensive line is playing right now. The defense isn't stupid. They're daring the Vikings to throw underneath right now. Because they know if the Vikings run underneath schemes, they're playing the under and waiting for it. But they also know the Vikings don't have time to consistently let routes develop down the field. So they're gambling that the pressure will get home fast enough and taking the risk if it doesn't.
