I agree! Obviously if we can’t get healthy then we have a problem. But with all these injuries.. 4 turnovers yesterday and overall lackluster effort they still managed to only lose by 5 and had multiple opportunities to come back. Have a little faith y’all
The injuries is what makes it worrisome. Purdy is still banged up. Looks like Pearsall will miss time; maybe Jennings too. Is it just bad luck, or is there more to it?

It’s not that we lost one game, it’s that we were barely beating bad and mediocre teams and now we don’t even have Bosa for the rest of the season.
Generally the first two weeks there’s sloppy play around the league because a lot of starters skip or barely play preseason. Week 4 though they should be looking better, not worse.
Jacksonville did everything they could to give away that game and the Niners were even worse. Jags were terrible on third downs and took a dozen penalties. Trevor Lawrence was laughably bad. They took their last timeout with 15 seconds left in the first half with 2nd & 5 at the 9 and instead of taking two shots at the end zone he checked it down for one yard and they had to scramble to spike it to get a FG attempt. Then with 2:40 left after the Niners burned their last time out he slid out of bounds to stop the clock with a one score lead.
Outside of Warner and Winters this team is mid. Fred probably is the main reason the Niners aren’t 1-3 with his key plays.
Not overreacting to the loss but the OL in both the run and pass game is 💯 a concern in ALL of our games so far.
I was so irritated with comments after the game that I avoided the sub for the rest of the night. Everything from the usual “fire Shanahan,” to, “bench Purdy and stay with Jones the rest of the season.” Like, what?
We lose our minds based on the outcome of a single play
Yea but we also haven’t faced a very good team yet. Rams game will show what we got.
I’m sorry I don’t have a recent Super Bowl win to calm my nerves.
We have not had an interception since the middle of last year. We didn’t register any QB hits or sacks this game. NOT ONE. We don’t have a rushing TD this season or a rush of 20 yards or more. Our offensive line rates near the bottom of the league in many statistical measurements. We have a ton of injuries. We are lucky to be 3-1 because we could have easily lost against the Seahawks if not for that Tonges amazing play to catch that ball, the Saints suck, and the Cardinals dropped like 100 passes and we were lucky to beat them too.
Its not that we are 3-1 and people are losing their minds – Its that there are massive red flags all over this team right now and we need to improve vastly in many areas or else the actual good teams of this league are going to go to town on the 49ers moving forward.
Jax was the 1st real opponent we faced so far this season and even they aren’t up there with the Eagles.
We looked like dog shit. OL couldn’t run block. CMC has clearly lost a step. WRs keep getting hurt.
I don’t understand how we can keep calling Shanny a genius when he struggles against average opponents. Not every coach is going to have ALL their All Pros. Plenty of coaches make do with what they have. Kyle seems to only be able to win when we have more talent than everyone else combined
The next lose won’t come as a surprise. With all these injured players our chances of winning are lower now. Rams are only favored to win because of our injuries. A fully healthy Niners team would destroy the Rams. No one should be losing their minds if we lose with most our starters out. What can you expect?

But the eye test looks 1-3 at best.
I just watched Tyreek’s knee explode (coupled with Nabers’ ACL tear and Madubuike’s neck injury) and all I hear from Niner doomers on this sub are “WHY ARE WE CURSED?!?” as if catastrophic injuries don’t happen to every other team in the league.
Let’s see how the Thursday night game goes…..

The bigger picture is that part of it…injuries keep piling up as well.
Did we deserve to lose? Yes. You dont win too many games with 4 turnovers.
But still with a chance to win it at the end? I’ll take it. If two things go the other way I think were looking at a different result. If Stout’s pick stands, were taking over at the 10-15 yard line after just scoring. Tying the game or taking the lead. If Bourne catches that 3rd down pass over the middle, even if we dont score on the drive, they probably dont return the punt for the TD. Those were the biggest swings.
Get right for Thursday. Keep the faith.
honestly watching the cowboys and packers FUCKING TIE cheered me up tho
We’re not winning the Super Bowl this year. Might as well just look for the fun moments and enjoy the highs
It’s gonna be 3-2 in less than a week and they are piling more injuries faster than they can heal.
At this rate they will be looking for Keanu to lead a bunch of replacement misfits to carry on with the rest of the season and we’re not even half way through the season yet.
I specifically wanted to watch Dolphins Jets to cheer me up. I needed a reminder of how bad it could get. The Jim Tomsula Chip Kelly years were a while back. I forgot.
We turned the ball over 4 times. We would have lost by 28 points if the Jags were a real team.
