This show is the best because they acknowledge and lean into the ridiculousness of sports commentary and hot take culture. I’m sure I would be annoyed with Nick if he was a fan of a different team.
But at least he is honest about which way he leans. He doesn’t try an hide it and its part of his schtick. None of it feels fake. Just fun.

Rolling hospital bed was a nice touch. I said he should go out in a wheelchair with an IV drip.
I also think after another bad loss they rent an iron lung and send him out in that.
And once they’re eliminated from the playoffs he goes out in a casket

As a showrunner, I can’t help but think of how much the FTF crew has been killing it. Somebody’s job today was to secure a fully functional hospital bed for this bit and they delivered
