Did we actually change coaching staffs?

  1. Up there with the Titans coach as the worst coach in the League currently. Wheels spinning, no real improvement out of each week so far.

  2. Ngl it’s very disappointing. I didn’t expect the jets to be good but I was hoping for at least fewer penalties.

    Hoping there’s major turnover this off-season and we see a drastic improvement next season (8 know, I know that’s being way too optimistic)

  3. I’m a bears fan and love Justin fields. There were some things that he needs to clean up so the Jets can start winning but what the actual fuck happened with the OL and those play calls. I have never seen a worse route combination. Whoever drew up those plays literally set Wilson up to fail. Holy fuck

    Plus that first fumble was such bad protection by Allen. You gotta protect the rock with your life. Especially after you pound through they line like that

  4. It’s only been 4 games so I’m not ready to say anything definitively but my god is this the dumbest fucking team I’ve watched

  5. Lions fan here. I remember Campbell’s first year well. It took a long time before we saw the turnaround start

  6. Firing him won’t change anything when the same guy is hiring the next coach. Nothing will change with Johnson. That’s it plain and simple. We will be losers forever. Only chance is if he sells. That’s the only chance. It’s the Jets. It’s stupidity in the form of 11 on 11 tackle football.

  7. The Jets somehow always look bad and the exact same type of bad regardless of who our coach is

  8. I’m willing to give him the season. It took them a while to turn it around in Detroit as well. Rome wasn’t built in a day

  9. I feel like reducing this again to just coaching is a mistake and looking for an easy solution.

    The truth is just that the majority of this Team is really really bad and has been for a while.

  10. Only 3/14 HCs that made the playoffs last year had defensive backgrounds. 2 are old heads that have been around forever (Bowles and Tomlin).

    In the last 25 years 7 out of the Jets 8 coaches have had a defensive background. The one with offensive background was Gase.

    We’re not picking the right guys. The hot shot Defensive coordinator is not a good coaching hire in the 2025 NFL. The only defensive head coach to win a SuperBowl in the last decade was Bellicheck.

  11. We don’t have any talent at WR besides Garrett. Taylor looked good tonight. Allen is out. The defense can’t stop a cold. You can see the frustration on Quinnen’s face. Losing DJ Reed was tough. It’s definitely a talent issue. The DC needs to do something different because there are so many players out that don’t know who to cover. And ground and pound only works when you have a passing game that can take advantage of it. We may as well run the option. 😆 I need to call my therapist again.

  12. Why did the Jets think the best qb they can have is a Justin Fields who can’t win as a pocket passer, that the only thing he can do is run and throw deep only when it’s wide ass open?

  13. He’s coaching a lot of players that aren’t his choices. And they’re not great players to begin with. It’ll take another offseason/into year 2 to see how he really is as a coach.

    Wilks however needs to be examined at this point.

  14. I mean we have hired a rookie defensive mind head coach what, 6 of our last 7 times going back to the early 2000s. Why did people think this newest one, who btw was by far the worst coordinator of any of them, would be any better? Bc he played here????

  15. We hired a rookie Dcentic smooth talking head coach who talked the talked but did not walk the walk. (Saleh)

    We hired a rookie wet behind the ears gm who made a lot of rookie mistakes. (Douglas)

    We hired a young rookie 1st time OC (LaFleur)

    We hired many suspect coordinators.

    When that failed after 5 years?

    We hired the exact same regime

    Glenn = Saleh

    Moug = Douglas

    Engstrand = LaFleur

    Bad coordinators.

    The Jets could have hired a vet GM with a proven tack record in Dmitroff and one of several Offensive centric head coaches. (Joe Brady, Todd Monken)

    WE just totally repeated the last regime that was a complete failure.

  16. I remember the days when is Jimmy Johnson the coach of the Cowboys wood cut players the following day after making all those types of mistakes, but I think Glenn seems to be a players coach

  17. Every week I say this is the one the finally broke me. Then, every week I watch again.

    I really do wonder how much longer it’ll be.

  18. That’s what I’m saying bro?! How do we change so much and Maintain the same level of incompetence through multiple coaching staffs

  19. This team is running a preseason-tier offensive scheme and still can’t time the fucking snap count correctly. Our star players are staring down the head coach like he’s a terrorist and all three coordinators look like idiots weekly. We’ve reached levels of same old jets that make me question how anyone could proudly call themselves a fan of this team
