  1. I don’t hate the response. Nothing else to do now but play baseball. Hopefully they feel like they’re starting fresh, when hot we’re as good as any ball club.

  2. I’m not a doomer by any means, but it’s tough to contrast this with Dan Campbell after the Lions win over Cleveland where he didn’t mince words even after a win.

It wasn’t condescending, he didn’t stay on it too long, but his message was clear: “not good enough.” Very different than AJ Hinch’s approach to a difficult second half of the season.

I’ll still be rooting and hoping for them to win, but my trust that they’re doing their best is certainly shaken.

  3. Okay that’s fine but they really need to wake the fuck up. Great, you made the playoffs but that’s not going to last very long if they can’t figure out how win some games.

  4. I’m hoping for the best

But right now, Cleveland is the team Detroit was last year

In the beginning of a season, I thought the Tigers was the team to win the World Series

    Now
I don’t know who they are

  5. Guess all the sympathizers here are now acting like he didn’t play a huge part in this collapse.

Let’s keep its simple. A real organization would not bring Hinch or Harris back if they go one and done. If this were a serious organization you advance or your job is in question after what’s taken place. That’s how he should be operating. But since this is a loser organization, they’ve already prepared his extension. We can get swept this week and nothing will happen. Imagine if my job saw me actively tank my performance and still gave me a raise. It doesn’t happen.
    #ZERO accountability.

And if we’re being real, the only reason they’re in this position is because two teams decided to hand us their playoff spots. We’d be sitting on the couch for the past two Octobers if two teams didn’t shit their pants down the stretch. So forgive me if I’m not racing to extend these 2.

  6. This is about the ‘best’ (in quotes for you die hard losers) response to the media that you can give, given the situation.
We reset to ZERO gentlemen. Block everything else out.
Take the statistics and throw them to the side of the road.

  7. It was an epic collapse… I hope we win tomorrow but I don’t expect the bats to suddenly wake up and the bullpen to be lights out.
