Although the Hornets have been rebuilding since the beginning of the decade, I still have them as my 13 seed prediction in the East. The team does have somewhat of a direction with LaMelo and Brandon Miller leading the way, but LaMelo has not been durable since his second year. And Miller only played 27 games this past season, which is a big cause for concern. The team did make a point of emphasis to add some veterans such as Mason Plumbley, Spencer Denwritty, and Pat Coneton. So, this could cause the younger players to develop even better, which could easily be a positive. Along with their number four pick and adding Colin Ston, this team could make some noise this upcoming season.
