I’m so perplexed by Montez. He looks healthy. And it looks like he’s legitimately trying. He just. . . isn’t effective. It’s really disappointing. I like him a lot as a player. He earned a contract. But gosh, the results have just not been there so far this year. I hope he picks it up.
I don’t think a 240 pound 5th round edge rusher with 1.5 career sacks is going to provide much of a boost, but perhaps drafting a DE higher than the 5th round at any point in the last 4 years might have?
It’s gonna be a long year for the DL, it is what it is as long as Caleb and Ben prove they’re legit.
