Marvin Harrison Jr. Was The WRONG Pick
It is over. The Arizona Cardinals made the wrong pick. Marvin Harrison Jr. was viewed as a generational talent just a year ago when he was picked inside the top five. He was supposed to completely changed the Arizona Cardinals offense. And to put it nicely, he’s not even close to a generational talent. He never should have been picked that early in the draft. He didn’t even have 900 yards as a rookie in a 17game season. Are you kidding? And sure, all the MHJ stands can blame Calam Murray. They can blame the Cardinals offense, but he is not absolved from all blame either. He’s not very explosive, so he doesn’t get open a ton down the field. His route running hasn’t been as good as it looked at Ohio State, so he doesn’t create much separation. And this past Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers might have been the worst game of his career. He had multiple key drops in this game. I mean, these plays are simply unacceptable from a top five pick. I mean, it’s honestly flatout embarrassing that he’s not bringing this in. And this is not me saying he can’t be a good receiver for 8 to nine years and have a long NFL career just being a solid option. The days of viewing him as an elite receiver and somebody that will become one of the best in the league, I think is simply over at this point. I mean, from his own draft class, you would comfortably say that Malik Neighbors, Roma Dunce, Brian Thomas Jr., Ricky Pieraw, Ladma Mccon are all better than him. Specifically, Malik Neighbors, he’s already one of the best receivers in the league. He’s basically Jamar Chase 2.0. He’s so much more explosive than Marvin. He’s better after the catch. He can make just as many contested catches as well. He was always the right pick for the Cardinals. If they had drafted him, I think their offense would actually be a lot better to have a nice deep threat down the field with Kyler Murray. But yeah, it is over. Marvin was never the
Marvin Harrison Jr. has been flat-out disappointing so far for the Arizona Cardinals. I’m ready to say it, he was the wrong selection.

I don't pay any attention to the Cardinals, so I'm in no position to argue one way or the other. However, a lot of all-time great WRs struggle their first few years. AB had 167 yards as a rookie. Terrell Owens had 520 yards. Neither Jerry Rice nor Andre Johnson got 1000 yards as a rookie. Megatron didn't get 800. He had more yards last year than his father had as a rookie. Expecting a wide receiver to completely upgrade your offense is kind of silly to begin with. Expecting it from a rookie is absurd.
Bro it’s week three and already through those three weeks, he’s averaging 6 targets. That’s not good enough for a number 1 receiver, plus go look at receivers in his class, they all have higher targets than Marvin 🤦
The problem with Marvin Harrison is Kyler Murray is too short the ball has to ascend with him. He's just too short. Hes 5 ft 8 defensive lineman 6' 3" ; receivers 6'4" the ball has to ascend guys this is basic math
As a cowboys fan … we’ll take him .. lol
The cardinals STINK! trash OC, Trash QB who can’t see Jack! They treat MHJ like he’s a wr5 and it’s ridiculous. They allow anybody to be a Coach, these dudes don’t be qualified they just know a friend. Now all of a sudden MHJ forgot how to play football?? IDTS!!
That’s why the Cardinals are losers
Harrison and Pitts in Atlanta – both picks may become busts , or just extreme disappointments.
put in jamis winston at qb in az and mhj is a top 3 wr.
Just because morons said he is a generational talent don't mean he actually is lol. I mean they said the same about Jamarcus Russell lmfao 😂. And Malik Neibers is fuckin trash to dude hasn't done shit
This is a terrible take. Relax bro
It wasn’t the wrong pick the cardinals needed what they thought he was going to bring… it was the right pick just wrong player
It's way too soon to make a judgment on Marvin Harrison Jr.. This video's stupid. He's in his 2nd year! I know you want the clicks and views, but this is just silly.
Daniel Jones and Sam Darnold are showing to "never say never" with a draft bust 😂😂😂
Freaking Relax 🤣 wow
Its not Marvin. Its the Cardinals. They have killed his confidence by not involving him.
Delete this video. No understanding of his situation. This organization has failed to support him. Trade him to the Houston Texas for draft pick capital. He will thrive with his former college QB…
Bro did not cook with this video lol
Naaa they don’t get him in a rhythm early on and expect him to make a big play late in ball games
Ohio state has produced some of the most over hyped wrs of the 2020s
His Route running is the laziest I’ve ever seen I swear he doesn’t make any effort to break his route off at full speed trash 🗑️
he did have 900……he had 885.
As a Giants fan I’m glad we got Nabers where we did. Sadly, he will probably be requesting a trade at some point because we suck ass.
It was a risk. If he would turn out anywhere near as good as his dad people would be praising the cardinals. Could’ve been another generational talent, he looked good in college
The ball gets to him without enough juice. It’s like trying to catch a slow cotton ball.
