I’m confused what people expected here. They took a bad team, inserted a bottom tier starter at QB and a first time head coach. This was always going to be a transition year with a few wins max.

I guess I’m the only one who isn’t ready to jump off a bridge. I knew this team was going to be terrible but we’ve actually done some good things on offense. Defense is terrible and we still do Jets shit but that takes time to change.

Honestly I partake in the bitching about the team and losses. It’s part of the Jets experience (and spurts in general). That being said, part of me genuinely hopes Glenn gets fired after 1 season. Why? So that fans get they want and no coach worth having ever comes to the Jets because who wants to come in to deal with Jets fans or being buried by Woody and Brick after not taking the team to the Superbowl their first year in charge.
After all the shit we’ve been through it’s hard to believe we haven’t had pick of the litter once since 1996. We are always almost there. Would things have been different if we’d gotten Trevor? Who knows. But I want the fucking option to at least not wonder.
If the Giants won one, the Jets almost certainly will. Jets are far better with an easier schedule.
It’s really easy to doom on the jets. Most of us do it every year starting in the pre-season. But they’re not bad enough to go 0-17. They’re pretty fkn bad but not 0-17 bad. They’ll be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention before it’s cold out but they’re not going 0-17.
I do prefer this version of bad. At least it’s an exciting bad. Much better than expecting every drive to end in a punt.
I dont wanna blow it up but not even the great cowboys in the 90s started off soo hot, i mean if we really want it that bad, we could trade off breece like herschel walker and get a bunch of picks and pull a jerry jones
