This was my favorite thing their addressing
“ Picollo also said the team may have to look at whether or not the high-contact, low-strikeout approach gets results.
“We don’t strike out, but we also have to look at that – is that good or bad? Is that getting us where we want to go? Generally speaking, not striking out is good. But if you’re making early outs on weak contact, then we have to address that.”” Finally admitting that wiff is ok if the QOC is worth the tradeoff

What about a bat?
I’m going to make a controversial statement here and say that this year was a bad luck year.
Lots of injuries, terrible BABIP, terrible BARISP, and some other struggles. The argument I’d make is that last year was a really good luck year for us because none of those things were issues we had. Next year we very well might even out, and given the struggles we had this year, we have now seen the *floor* of this team. Time will tell what the ceiling is.
