NHL Preseason Highlights | Stars vs. Blues | September 30, 2025

against Robertson on the near wing. Holloway
and Ranton in on the far wing. Henson Sudter on the opening draw. Hence wins it. They get it
to hasten. They bring it in front. Shoot it on. Talked to Jordan Kyu as you mentioned curves.
His first game of the preseason. Talked to him yesterday after practice. I said, “How’s camp
going?” He just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said, “We just got to start playing some
hockey games.” Trying to jam it away for the Dallas Stars is the former blue. And once again
back with Dallas. Ratic Foxa. They can’t clear it out. Blues roll it to the net. Steered by to Smith
in behind his goal. Stars with a long shot. Snap wide. That one coming hard off the stick there of
Ilia Leouchkin. And a puck right back to Bishell. Over to Leouchkin into the slot. Sean going down
low. They put it in front. Deflected in and score. Tipped by Duchain. Fivehole. And the Stars take
a one- nothing lead. 435 into the first period. Players really having their way on the ice.
You got them out there with Leo Loops grouping, right? You have Sam Steel, you have Duchain,
you have Tyler Sean. There’s Skinner. And this is what you have to expect now at this point in
camp. These are players that can move the puck that are smart that jump to rear ends, knee pads,
skates, blades, and it’s never a bad play. They always say to put it near that blue paint. A skinn
will clear for Dallas. Catch the Blues changing. Wyatt Johnston brings it in on Torupch, shoots
and scores. Well, the Stars caught the Blues on a messed up line change. Wyatt Johnston puts the
Dallas Stars on top two to nothing. 14-25 into the opening period. Was changing on the play,
but it’s not a bad change. The Blues are in the offensive zone. What happens is you got Miro
Hastin is going to shoot this puck up to Wyatt Johnson. So a battle loss in the offensive zone
allows Hastin to pick his head up. Find Johnson through the middle. Sudter going to the neutral
zone. Blues go in front. They’ve got it. Folk shoots. Rebound. They get it to the front of
the goal to Smith back to make the save. Boy, heck of a jump once again by Faulk. Roe
hints. Enters the St. Louis zone. Up two nothing. Turns goes side of the net to Rantin.
Rantin shoved down by Faulk. Shot on. rebound over and Hoffer slides to get the blocker on
it. But then he’s going to hound the puck. Looks like the defenseman for the Dallas Stars
is going to lose it or maybe gain it. And then you’re going to see Buch just put on the brakes.
He’s going to win the battle and then a behind the back pass right to Stunberg in front for a
wonderful chance. Heck of a save early on for Blues get it in front. Shoot it on. digging
for Zado Stenberg. Maybe I’ll wear my tie-dye button-down shirt for that game. Curbs. I’d like
to see that. Blues get it. Shoot it. Score. Right off a faceoff wave. They find Dylan Holloway and
through the screen. Holloway picks the corner and puts the Blues on the board. It’s two to one with
704 to go in the first period. Hey Jordan Carr, this is going to be a heck of a line. Really,
it’s a faceoff win, but this play really is set up from the stop and go of Jordan Kyu, who’s
on the boards. He’s coming up. He creeps up. He puts on the brakes and just changes direction.
The trainer’s job is really easy this year. In Robertson shot deflected on and Hoer gets bumped
into but makes the save and holds on. Five and a half to go. Little ginger getting over to the
bench there and now it’s picked up by Ranton on the near wing to hint into the middle. Shot
on and nice save by here comes that ransom lines. A quick little drop pass. He finds rope
hints. Everyone’s covered. Everyone’s all over the place. You know you got Pew Sudter back. You
got Kessle in the right spot trying to get around Bishop does looking for the trailer. Sudter
there. Holloway put it on. Puck kept alive by Brock’s pitch. Holloway with a backhand to Smith.
The save and a scramble for the puck covered up by the Dallas Goender. It’s really just starts
from the faceoff win once again. An offensive zone faceoff for Pew Sudter. He wins this back.
It’s an immediate chance for Dylan Holloway. The puck ends up flying out. Coming back in with the
rush chance from Justin Faulk. Heck of a pinch by Faulk in the neutral zone as they return it and
just reignite the pressure on the Dallas Stars and to Smith. It is a flurry. Looks like a bunch of
mummies jumping on a corpse right. Stars enter the blue zone with a two to one lead. Duchain spins
it loose. Sean shooting it on and a nice blocker saved by Holford. gets back to the crease. Oh,
I tell you, it’s a heck of a button up there by Matt Duchain. I mean, this is this is NHL caliber
players. Once again, Leo Loose pairing on the back end with Skinner. He finds themselves out there
with this top line and and this is what they do. Quick button up by Duchain. He puts it through two
Blues bodies to find Tyler Sang on the back door. A be they’re they’re sticky. They’re they’re very
particular about what a hit is. We used to go to New York Islanders to see Matt Martin with like 14
hits. Roberg walks it in on the wrap around score. Took it in behind the net and you can see
the one extra stride behind the goal. Sped up the wrapound and Philip Broberg’s tied the
game at two. And then of course this one from Philip Broberg and it’s a faceoff win by the
D’Vorski line. Heck of a job to the right of Smith. He’s going to snap this one. Boy, he’s
going to snap it back hard. It’s going to go right to Broberg. Broberg’s just going to
go. He sees space. He takes it. goes down. He tried to chip it in front and play broken
up by Lof. Now to Foxa again knocked down to his knees. Wyatt Johnson into the circle. Weaves
it around Joseph. They trickle in and score. Foxa didn’t get everything on it and like a change
up, the Blues were scrambling and a puck goes five hole on Hoffer. Dallas regains the lead. It’s
three to two. Yeah, I tell it’s just a lot of give and go hockey. You got Radic Fox at Tyler Sean
and then of course Johnson there. He starts in this near side corner. He skated up the left wing
and right into the middle of the ice they go off Kyrie to Sam Steel. Now to Lindell down to Hasten
in who fires the shot and that one is and then his second full year is more about just giving him
those those big time games, those tough games, those avalanche games on the road. Stars
drive it into the middle. Her pokes it away, but the rebound is there and Sean puts it in.
50 seconds into the third period. Stars have had scoring chances in the first minute of
every period. Finally break it in and it’s a 4 to2 Dallas lead. Well, I tell you what, just a
burst of speed right there. Looked like Joel Her made the original save there as it was sneaking
just around. Look like he was going to come back and collapse on him with that blocker, but the
rebound just sitting right there. And Tyler Sean, I tell you what, he is right. He looks great,
doesn’t he? Kyroo wrist shot right on. Rebound to Smith. Quick kick save and the puck to the
near wing. Cleared by Steel. Time on ice. Yeah, they transmit what’s the chips in the
jerseys that logs the time on ice and they’re now putting that on the video
board. Some info for fans here over the line. Dylan Holloway drops it to Kyu. Back to
Holloway. Score. The loser back within one. They brought some life back to the game. Second
of the game from Dylan Holloway. 653 to go. Third period. At its finest, a drop pass from Holloway.
He’s going to go to Kyu. Then he’s going to continue his route through the middle to find some
open ice. And Kyu just an absolute dandy of a pass through traffic. Head looking at the net. Go right
under the stick of that. Is a hot chunk in the road. It was a hot pass, but it just kind of hit
something right before it hit Kyrie. Just blew up everywhere. Puck turned over off of Holloway who
couldn’t get his footing in the Dallas Stars tuck it in and score. 54 53 the score. 51.4 seconds to
go in the third. It’s just a tough sequence for Dylan Holloway. His pass to Kyu in the offensive
zone. Just completely exploded off the blade of Kyu. The puck gets out. Texas trying to dance out
of the corner. 3 seconds remaining as they play it back to the blue line. That’s going to be the
end of it and the Dallas Stars skate out of St.

  1. Casey DeSmith asleep at the wheel. I still remember the Canuck game from last year. Need to trade before deadline to take load off Otter in April.
