It's been a long road, but it's been incredible. Even though the season has put our hair on end and put the pressure on, it's been pretty good to be here. Now, let's wish Dylan Ceace luck so he can give his all on the mound today, and good luck to all the guys.
Let's go for a 3-game Padres 🔥

  1. Thats actually correct. On paper fantastic potential with underwhelming results. The prayer every day that what we see on paper shows up on the field that day. All wrapped up for a single start in a do or die game that may decide our season.

  2. So….a tight game until the 4th and he gives up two HRs and then everyone quits?

  3. I mean he threw a no hitter kind of not that long ago so he has the stuff. Granted it wasn’t a playoff team but still

  4. I’m so tired of saying this… the season does not rest on Dylan… it rest on the idiots in our batting order who give no shits about hitting.

  5. He’ll always be one of my Favorite Padres–Brought us a second no-hitter!

  6. Even if he gives up a homer or two, I hope we get the locked in Cease that can shake it off and not the rattled Cease that falls apart.

  7. Fitting that it all comes down to Cease. I love him and think he should perform much better than he has all season, which is what I could say for the rest of the team too.

  8. Dude he can throw no hitters all day but if we can’t get our fucking bats to score it’s meaningless

  9. Remember: the corgi of fate predicted they’d win game 1. We’re not out of this by any means.

  10. He’s going to shove and be a dawg watch… 97.3 had a great discussion yesterday in why he makes sense for playoffs and how his stuff is meant for the sprint not the marathon. He wants his bag, he will show he deserves it.

  11. I’m really hoping to use the beingromanticaboutbaseball.gif in a happy way today
