New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills | Week 5 Game Preview
New England Patriots hitting the road hoping to make a statement after making one on the scoreboard to win their second game. So Vable and the Patriots, they hang on to the ball. They hang on for the win easily. A little Sunday night football action in Buffalo. Apparently have to be able to put up at least 32 to beat the Bills. And that wasn’t even enough the one time it happened. Allen rolling right, fakes the throw, fakes out everybody. Touchdown. New England next in line to try and see if it can keep Josh Allen and James Cook from propelling the Bills offense to more than 30 points. 31 last week, 30 plus points every time they’ve walked off the grid iron. James Cook is in for a touchdown. He sets a franchise record. They get in the ring with a Patriots defense that’s held three of their four opponents to less than 22 points. Most allowed 27 so far. Held Carolina to 13. Those are the type of plays that you get excited about. You have a lead like this, go punch the ball out. Patriots secondary strolls into week five after holding Bryce Young to 150 yards, only five yards per attempt. That way is Young and getting rid of it. He’s starting to get frustrated. A couple of things. New England’s given up a rate north of a 100 over their four games and facing Bryce Young and Chuba Hubard to then facing Allen and Cook. Almost like going from dealing with the guys from the Pineapple Express to dealing with Jesse and Walter White. Allen is the one who knocks. Two more TD passes, 9 and 1 half yards per attempt last week, 110 plus rate, 112 plus rate games, and three of four. Josh Allen doing what they call here in Buffalo Josh Allen things. James is the one who cooks, of course. Is he the best running back of 2025? 117 and a TD on the ground, 5.3 a run. Three straight C note games, 5.3 plus in each. Has a TD plus in all four games. You just see how easy he makes it look. James Cook, have a day, young man. And Allen, of course, ran for 45 yds versus the Saints and scored. He does it again. Breaks tackles, breaks people down, makes them miss. New England’s pass rush, just one sack of Bryce on his 30 pass attempts. Caleon Chason, he’s had half a sack or more in three of their four. Allen did get dropped three times by the Saints, a season high in sacks taken. Allen in trouble again and he is sacked again. Seven Bills caught an Allen pass in their latest win. Dalton Concincaid pulled in a 28-yd TD. Keon Coleman cobbled 45 yds together. Allen to Coleman again. 20 yds for Keon Coleman. And Khalil Shakir led the way versus New Orleans with 69 yds, a 43 yd TD. Breaks through the defense and stays on his feet. Shakir, what a play. As to stopping Allen and Cook on the ground, New England has held running backs to 3.2 yards per attempt this season. Patriots weren’t great versus Carolina’s rush attack, allowing 4.6 a carry, 129 yards. It’s Tuba Hubard and he’s across the 40 pushing his way. Their play versus the run fairly irrelevant in that game and that’s because of their 35point offensive explosion. Special teams chipped in, but see what happens when you don’t give the ball away all game. Weren’t even that good on third down, but four for four in the red zone is nice. Into the end zone for a Patriot touchdown. Let’s run a little power game right here. Pats have put up 33 plus points twice. Finished under 15 twice. Drake May though looking to put together four good games in a row. Ho h 203 yards in the beatd down of Carolina but almost 12 yards per attempt, two TDs, no picks, a 155 rate on 14 of 17 passing. That’s three straight 100 plus rate days at the office. Michael Scott would be impressed. Number 10, Drake May. He can run it. He can throw it. and it’s on display right now. Can Drake stay hot or does Buffalo have any kung fu Kenny’s to hit back with? The likes of Spencer Rattler not enough. Only 126 yds passing, only 4.7 yds per attempt allowed. Rattler in trouble. Rattler throws it away. Ball is loose. Only Lamar and Baltimore’s offense has hurt Buffalo’s D so far. Held the Saints to 19. Have held each team under 22 since week one. Back to Alab throwing to Rattler. Picked off Cole Bishop. Pass rush hits week five off a three bag outing. Joey Bosa and AJ Epanessa with one each. A two sack average through the quarter mark. Coming off the edge. Rattler lost the football. That will do it. May took one sack, zero yards lost. Had taken three or more every game prior. So that was a big improvement. May has a moment. floats one and open down near the 10 yd line of Carolina. Only one Patriots pass catcher heads into the contest off a 40 plus yard game. Old friend M. Holland just four yards. Kahan Booty one 18yd catch. Tight end Austin Hooper a 24yd catch. Tight end Hunter Henry 39 yds in a TD has scored backto-back games. Just have a little touch right between the eight and the five and it’s too easy. It’s like stealing. And Stefan Diggs, former Viking, former Texan, I think, struts in off his first 100yard game as a Patriot. Seven targets last week. No one else had four. Look at Dig stop the route, comes back, catches the football. That is excellent. Top yards earner versus Buffalo secondary last week. Rasheed Shahed 47 yards. Buffalo’s DBs held everyone else under 30. Didn’t play the run great though. allowed 189 yds on the ground, 5.6 per try. Rattler pressure coming. Rattler steps up again and he’s got room to run. Over eight yards per carry allowed to Rattler, 49 yds. A touchdown 65 yds on 5.9 a carry to Kendre Miller and 70 yardds allowed to Alvin Chimera on 4.7 per May can move. He scored again and thought he was Cam Newton for a second. Three different Patriots backs, Raandre Stevenson, Antonio Gibson, and Tayvon Henderson each hit at over four a run. Three rushing TDs in their victory. Can he keep it himself and take it? He will. He does. And that is a touchdown New England. Comment section. See, I knew it was AI Diggs, a Viking and a Texan, and he forgot he played for the actual New York team. Pat’s Bills have duked it out twice a year since 1960. Those Brady years have put New England up big. Early to mid70s, it was all Buffalo. They played some gems in 1974. Bills winning the first one by just two points. The margin for the second one even slimmer. After beating the Bears, the Bills went to Foxboro for a rematch with the Patriots. This time, Ahmad Rashad was Ferguson’s main mark with seven catches for over 100 yards. In this one though, the Patriots were ahead, but New England’s lead lasted only until Dave Washington got his giant strides in gear. [Applause] Washington’s touchdown pushed Buffalo ahead, but both teams refused to die and New England went back in front 28-26. [Music] Finally, a second Bill’s Pat Spectacular came down to a duel of kickers. Early in the fourth quarter, John Lipold made a 47 yd field goal to put Buffalo in front 2928. Then with just 54 seconds to go in the game, the Patriots had a shot to win with a 46-y, Jeff Yates got a hand on New England’s last shot and Buffalo had won two straight over the Patriots. Loose Sabin’s Buffalo Bills were number one in the AFC East. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music]

Bills over Patriots 34-20
Pats would be 3-1 if not for Stevenson fumbling at the goal line. Will they win this game? Probably not.
But don’t sleep on them bills
LFG! GO BILLS!
Backhanded compliment: Pats actually have the greatest chance of the AFC East to make it close, but the Bills will still get the W. Can't wait for SNF!
Bills continues their winning Streak
33-27
I'm picking the Bills to get to 5-0 this week. But they should be on heavy upset alert after last week's slight scare. New England's no pushovers no matter what of course. Should be lots of fun. Bengalsforever❤
The team that cost me pain many years since I was a child pats Vs bills go bills 38-17
White out Jerseys gonna be 🔥
Prediction Bills 28 Patriots 24 This will be good I think. Two teams I like very well. Man I'm excited for SNF!!!!!!!
patriiots 28 bills 17

My Bills defense… LET'S GET IT DONE.
Let’s hope the fans do not watch
Man I think we win.. we definitely not getting destroyed like we the jets thats for sure.. if Maye plays a perfect game then we can compete..
Wolfe, thank you for believing in the pats! Drake Maye has arrived!
This could def be a battle, but the Pats will need a lot to go their way to get the win. The fact is this Bills squad just doesn't lose at home, and they are likely getting both Matt Milano and Spencer Brown back.
Absolutely terrified for this one. 27-24 bills
If the Patriots could just get the run game going, they might have a chance. 😎
As a pats fan, 28-27 bills
Bills 42 Pats 17
The Pats will shock everyone. Pats:27 Bills:26
ill take pats bills Miami at bills in there house score bills 31 dolphins 21 patriots at Miami patriots 33 to 27 at miami since that game patriots use digs
37-19 Bills
Go Bills!
Shakir is gonna be Buffalo's best weapon.. against either marcus jones or alex austin he's gonna pop off. that being said I think that will be buffalo's only promising weapon, CD3 and Gonzo should have coleman and palmer on straps and the front 7 should have all inside runs on locks. Maye and Henderson will outperform Allen and Cook mark my words.
This is going to be close. I still see the Bills winning. 34-31 Bills
5:26 you forgot “former Buffalo Bill”
So no one’s gonna talk about rattler getting decked after the INT 😂
