The Steelers are last in the NFL in penalties committed this season 🔥

  1. Well, for all my recent criticism of Tomlin, I’ll give him his flowers. This is clearly coaching.

  2. This is entirely on coaching. Good to see our boys getting coached well from a penalty standpoint

  3. This simply can’t be true. Yinzers have been yelling for years that the coach has turned this into an undisciplined team

  4. Should be 18, since they took a delay of game intentionally on that 4th down punt last game.

  5. They’re always near the bottom of the league in penalties which is why i can’t take people seriously when they say Tomlin teams are undisciplined.

  6. They’ve been getting the ball out quick, so not as many holding calls. I can’t recall any dumb unsportsmanlike conduct penalties yet

  7. This isn’t the Steelers *I* know. Get rid of everyone!!!

Nah, glad to see it. Hope it continues.

  8. Great to see us at the bottom of this list, it has felt a lot less this season than watching last year.

I do wonder how many of them as well are ‘important’ penalties from what we have have been penalised for too; as I think there has been 2 of them being delay of game before FG attempts trying to draw a penalty which would be a lot less costly in the outcome of results than some others.

  9. Big shoutout to Broderick Jones not having any penalties called on him through 4 games. Really starting to show improvement both in play and discipline.

  10. First of all, Porter hasn’t been on the field. So yeah, what a coincidence.

Second, we usually do have a couple of penalty heavy stinkers per year. We just hadn’t had them yet. We haven’t had an AFC North game yet!

I’m not hating on the success. I’m just not willing to celebrate just yet.
