Rich Eisen’s Concern Level for the Injury-Riddled 1-3 Baltimore Ravens Is…? | The Rich Eisen Show
As for the Ravens, they’re one and three. And I know that there’s a lot of panic set in in the Mid-Atlantic area. The key thing is how is Lamar today? I know Derek Henry was held to less than 50 yards rushing. Again, third straight game in that department after 169 in Buffalo in week one. And it’s the longest streak for Henry in that regard since weeks 11 through 13 in 2018 with the Titans. And I know that Lamar’s hamstring injury has got people freaked out cuz Cooper Rush is not I mean maybe he can do what he did for Dallas when Dak was out. Hold you over. Okay, hold you over for a little bit. Um, and people are freaking out because the 17-point loss was the second largest in the starting career of Lamar Jackson, who again got knocked out of the game. And the Chiefs defense did its job against a marauding offense. 131 points in the first four games for the Ravens through 2025. Um, is the second most through four games by a team with a losing record. So, people are kind of freaked out about it. And the reason to to really freak out about it is how hurt they are on the defensive line. They put Nambdia Madab and Broadick uh Washington Jr. on the IR over the weekend and then lost Rocoan Smith, Maron Humphrey, Nate Wiggins in the game. Uh Ronnie Stanley went out also at one point. Everyone’s just looking around and going, “What the hell’s going on?” This is what John Harbaugh had to say afterwards. Uh you know, I haven’t really thought about that. I don’t know the answer to that. I just know that this is our circumstance right now. This is what we’re going to have to deal with. You know, I like I told the guys before and I told the guys after the game, you know. I mean, I I respect our guys. I respect our players. I respect our coaches. I know that we’re going to go to work and uh and there’s football to be played, you know, and there there’s a there’s a division to be won, you know, and we’ve got to find a way to become good enough to win it, you know, so it’s it’s a long season and uh but short term it’s it’s a it’s a challenge. Right now, our focus is on the on the on the Houston Texans game. That’s what we’ve got to get locked in for really and find a way to play the kind of football game that we’re going to need to play to win. Okay, so here’s how it works here on out for the Baltimore Ravens cuz you’re just one and three. You’re marathoning. You’re not sprinting. You’re 1 and0 in division. Keep that in mind. Okay, keep that in mind. Your next home game is against the Houston Texans who put some put it together against the 0 and4 Titans. We’ll find out how fazy it is or not. Woody Marks looked terrific. Mhm. running the football and catching it for an offense that finally got um a clean sheet game from CJ Strad. We’ll see how they can carry it over into Baltimore. Then comes a Rams team that could steamroll them if they’re still banged up on defense. Let’s just say they’re two and four going into the buy. You tell me if they come out healthy and play like the Ravens have in previous years, they can’t go on a run. Home for Chicago, at Miami, at Minnesota, at Cleveland, home for the Jets, home for Cincinnati, home for Pittsburgh, at Cincinnati, home for New England, at Green Bay, at Pittsburgh. They can go on a run and win the division. The problem would be is what happens if they do advance off of that wildcard weekend game at home. They’d have to probably go to Kansas City or Buffalo next because they just lost to them both. Can they go in there healthy and beat those teams? They can. The road has gotten tougher through the first four weeks injury-wise, tiebreaker wise, but the season’s not over for him. They’re too damn talented for that to be a consideration in my mind just yet. We’re not worried about Derrick Henry yet. That’s two clunkers in a row. I’m not. I’m not. I I I’m just not. I’m not. Browns defense is no joke. The Kansas City defense has turned it around. And that Detroit defense is no joke either. It’s just usually they’re used to pushing people around on on on that in the trenches. And Lamar being better than your quarterback by a significant margin. That hasn’t happened yet. Just four games, just a quarter of the season. You’re one and0 in division. That’s the way through. And if you think Pittsburgh is just going to start boat racing people and the Bengals with Jake Browning is going to start winning a ton of games, then they’re in trouble. Hey, you made it all the way to the end. Thanks for that.
Rich Eisen weighs in on Patrick Mahomes’ big day in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 37-20 beatdown of Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in Week 4 to send Baltimore to 1-3 on the year.

If they drop the next 2 they are out of the running for the AFC north. Madubuike being out the rest of the way is a massive blow for their already shaky defense.
I think this was more about KC getting weapons back and new players gelling. Yes Baltimore has a lot of defensive guys out. KC hasn't had their WRs together YET. They keep winning.
You don't win MVP's by handing the ball to king Henry 25 times per game. That only gets you wins. Just saying, Lamar wants the MVP
Fire Harbaugh, so he can win with another team.
3:19 as long as Zach Orr is the DC… Ravens aren’t going anywhere
Rich they WERE too damn talented nobody can beat injuries they aren’t that good anymore
In Eisen I trust
It’s official. You can’t ever criticize the Ravens as a national media pundit. Regardless of how horrible they play or how besieged by injury they are…Embarrassing,
Ravens need to hire John Gruden as HC!! Get rid of Zach Orr for sure. Monken needs to provide check downs for Lamar and leave Henry on field for pass plays.
Steelers fan here AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA
Rich has a few notorious blindspots, the Ravens are one of them.
I agree with Rich
If Lamar is good to go next week than I still have faith they can still make the tournament
Nobody had sympathy much for Detroit lions 15 injuries on defense last year…so deal with it Ravens
John taking the ball out of Derek Henry's hands is a concern… He was on a roll against KC then he disappeared..
Harbaugh is holding this team back
If the Lions beat a team that team loses the next week, fact!
The concerning thing is it sure did not look like he was injured enough not to play. A Lamar who has to be a pocket passer is still way better than his backup. Feels like the time he quit in the playoffs.
It’s a long season, we’re reminded of the eagles Super Bowl run. Not throwing the ball enough. It wasn’t 1-3 but it’s almost the first quarter of the season.
The Steelers who we know and love are not a stout defensive team. Cut to YouTube commenter getting swirlied.
The Ravens are still built strong up front on both sides of the football.
It could be an issue if we can’t do anything! I hope it’s adversity in a tough division. I was hoping the Browns would get a hotter start out of the gate and it would be 3 teams vying for the playoffs. Just keep showing up to work. I still think the ravens have levels ok both sides of the football.
It was nice to see Metcalf go for 80 last week.
Patriots vs Ravens looks like a win for New England 😎
the folks in the desert believe baltimore is the favorite to win the north. and it's not close.
Baltimore DEFINITELY winning the division💪🏿👿
I don’t understand the Derrick Henry thing because he’s just not getting carries. He had 8 in the chiefs game and averaged like over 5 yards a carry so his production hasn’t slowed he just isn’t being given the ball
