We’re welcoming Al Horford and his family to Boston and looking forward to the future. Al Horford is a four-time all-star and an outstanding person. This will be a big step in our relentless quest for Banner 18. The best thing that I can say about a basketball player is a person that constantly um enhances his teammates on the floor and the number one thing that his career has been defined by is winning. He plays the way that great Celtics of the past have played. He plays with a passion that is contagious to his teammates. He is a player that our fans will fall in love with. Adrien Wford got wins. Parker drops it down save unbelievable it down and one Jaylen Brown left hand dribble turns to the free throw line kick into the corner Al three got it 38-y old Al Horford trying to win his first title tell you nothing no more you did long journey. I can’t believe it. World champion. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Nobody know you, baby. OG. Yes, sir. You can win um championships in in many places, but there’s nothing like winning in Boston and nothing like winning as a Celtic. That’s it.

After a legendary run in Boston that secured Banner 18, Al Horford is officially departing to join the Golden State Warriors.

We look back on his biggest and brightest moments on the way to delivering a championship. Thank you, Al, for everything you did in the locker room, on the court and in the community. You’re forever a Celtic ☘️🏆
