  3. Jumbo Joe came back to play 5 months after his similar surgery. Svechnikov came back at 7 months. Hockey is easier on the knees. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back round 1 game 1

  4. This could put Barkov on the path to sainthood. Returning in 5-6 months would be a verifiable miracle.

  5. I’m not a sports scientist, but I wonder how stressful skating is on the ACL versus running/jumping in other sports. Maybe he can come back earlier because of this, I swear I’ve seen some guys play in the playoffs with torn ACL’s/MCL
