Cleveland Guardians vs Detroit Tigers 10/2/25 MLB AL Wildcard Pick & Prediction | MLB Betting Tips

What is going on guys? Brad here from pits.com and I got a pick in this Tigers vers Guardians game going down on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025. It’ll say Brad’s best picks and you’ll find all my plays there. But let’s get right into this one, guys. It’s do or die for both these squads. Game three, Tigers Guardians. I’m pumped. It’s been a fun series, man. You know that game one, I made the video on that game one. I did go with the Guardians. I faded Scooball Ball once again. Um, ended up losing that one. It was a close and competitive game though. My ideology in that one was basically I faded scooball what last week when these teams played. We won that. It was like plus 140 and I faded them again and we were getting those same type of odds. So, in my mind, I was like, even if I lose this next one, which was game one of this series, I’m still on money. And with baseball betting, with moneyline betting, sometimes you got to play your cards that way. Um, I was on the Guardians in game two and the first five under in game two as well. Both those smacks. So, I’m feeling good about this series. I am. And it all comes down to this. And luckily for the Guardians, they were were able to pick up some momentum in game two. Very slow game, but at the end there, those Guardians bats started to get hot. And I’m worried for the Tigers because of that. If the Guardians could carry that some that type of momentum or sorry, if the Guardians could carry some type of momentum from that game two, some type of confidence from the end of that game two, I think the Tigers are going to be in trouble because you know who the Tigers have on the mound. And I’m sorry for all Tigers fans that you’re going to have to go through this, but you got Jack Flity on the mound for game three. And I don’t think that’s going to farewell for this Tiger team. I mean, let’s look at Jack Flity’s last few games against the Guardians. I mean, the Guardians have seen him quite a few times as of late. Um, so Jack Flity started a game against the Guardians on September 24th. In that game, he gave up three earned runs and they lost that game. The Guardians saw Jack Flity on September 17th. He only gave up one earned run in that game, but the the Tigers lost that game. And then he faced the Guardians on May 22nd and that gave he gave up three earns, three earn and the Tigers once again lost that game. So the last three times Jack Flity has seen the Guardians this season, he’s lost every single game. So something to think about there. Slay Kakone actually has only seen the Tigers twice this season, which I thought was interesting. Once on May 23rd and once on July 4th. Both of them were pretty decent starts. Both of them were lowscoring games. Um, and the fact that these teams have played so often as of late and he hasn’t faced them since uh July is actually pretty crazy to me. But I think that favors Slade Kakone in this game, man. I truly think it does. So, I like the Guardians in this game. I like the Guardians to finish this one out. Yes, the Tigers, you won. You won with Scooball. Good for you. But without Scooball, I really don’t trust this team, man. This is a team that has played bad. Let’s just be real. they’ve played bad down the stretch, whereas the Guardians have been one of the hottest teams in baseball down the stretch. The Guardians will have that home crowd, that atmosphere behind them as well. And I also like how the Guardians were able to pick up some momentum um at the end of game, too. So, I’m fading Jack Flity. Jack Flity’s also been pretty damn bad on the road. Like, I’m I’m sorry, Tigers fans. It was a great series uh season, but I think you guys are cooked. I truly do. I think the Tigers would be in a better position if they had like a bullpen game or something like S and Jack. I know Jack Flity has experience in these big games and he he was in a World Series last year with the Dodgers, but man oh man, I could see him getting in trouble early and often in this game.
