  1. I’ve watched enough Westbrook/Randle/Simmons offseason shooting videos to be very skeptical of this

  2. What a franchise flex, you’re a new member of the Lakers like Jake LaRavia, and you look up in the practice facility and you just see a row of Larry O’Briens in the window. If that isn’t inspiring I don’t know what is.

  3. It’s not worth judging the shot until we see it across a decent sample size in actual games, but if Redick says he looks fit and healthy, and if he did work hard on his shooting over the summer, then I am excited to see that in action. JJ also mentioned that Vando was in a tough spot last season because he had to play the small 5 so much, so presumably this season he’ll be on perimeter defense and corner 3 duty a lot more.

    Vando’s one of these rare players whose defense can actually on some nights make up for his lack of offense because his defense is legitimately that good, but to become playable in important games and the playoffs he needs to at least make some open 3s at a respectable clip. Same goes for Marcus Smart.

  4. Dont do the thing Lakers fans… dont you do the thing… you know what thing Im talking about…

  5. He doesn’t even need to make 3s. He just needs to be able to make a layup or a put back dunk without getting stripped

  6. Why am I watching grown men play with balls?

    (I have seen enough, Jake is washed, and Vando is the best 3&D in the league.)

    {Hope all this translates well to the real games. The shot looks good but isn’t the most consistent by this shot look.}

  7. A healthy Vando with a corner 3 would basically complete the roster aside from another back up center.

  8. Still a little too much hitch/hesitation in his shot. Look at JLR how his shot is so smooth.

  9. I hope he’s practicing dunks too.. I can deal with missed 3s alot better than dude getting stuffed at the rim repeatedly

  10. I understand that people’s scepticism but you’ve got to remember that this is the first offseason that Vandos been healthy. There’s a huge difference between working on your game and rehabbing. You can’t get into shape or work on your game while you’re rehabbing, it’s two completely different things. I have a great feeling about Vando this year, he’s gonna be great just you watch.

  11. I don’t know what you people are looking at. This is not encouraging. Maybe he’ll hit a few more than last season but defenses can still ignore him on the perimeter.

  12. Omg

    If Vando can hit those at a league average clip he is a championship level starter due to his already ELITE D
