    We swapped back to a blit scheme this year. There will literally always be somewhere open.

  5. I guess I don’t know what you’re getting at by the Classic Tomlin post. But knowing this sub I’m assuming you didn’t watch the video where he shows how the Steelers intentionally had a disguised blitz and used TJ to open the gap queen came through.

    So what the “classic Tomlin” really means is that we baited them on 2nd down to call a favorable play and then took advantage of that with a well designed and executed play with a sack.

    Like just a general rule, you do know that usually somewhere is open and we design plays with that in mind. It’s not like there a magic “sack the QB and cover the whole field” play out there.

  11. Anytime a “Film Breakdown Guy” films his computer with a phone and doesn’t use any form of telestration, you can just ignore them. Making All-22 film accessible to knuckleheads is a top 3 worst thing that has happened to the sport

    ILB is manned up on JJ.

    Middle of field is open (not unusual).

    Run same coverage.

    QB can’t see a wideopen JJ for a TD or at least a 1st down.

  15. Every time they show Teryl Austin on TV very obviously calling the defense I think about people on this sub unironically saying Tomlin calls the defense and Austin is just a patsy.

  18. Somebody tell this guy in man coverage with 2 deep it doesn’t matter you left a portion of the field open. Everybody is with their man lol the Vikes came back with the trip bunch and tight twin hoping for man again. They set up some rub plays to free someone. But, Queen was there. Highlighting the MOF open is a “no shit sherlock” thing.
