The #Astros blow the game, a golden opportunity, but still have a chance if… #shorts

The Houston Astros blow not just today’s game, but they blow a chance to have a three-way tie with the Guardians and the Tigers, who both lost game day. The Astros had a three to nothing lead at one point. You would think that they had the game in the bag, but then baseball happens. Mike Trout happens. You can’t control the fact that he’s going to have two home runs. But unfortunately, the Astros just don’t. This does not seem to be their season. So, for the Astros to make it to the playoffs, they have to win the next two games and the Guardians or the Tigers have to lose the next two games. That’s basically the only way you get a chance. So, can they do that? I’m not sure. But the Astros have backed themselves in a wall. We’ve been talking about this on the Lockdown Astros podcast for a while. They are here because of their poor play this season. We’ll we’ll continue talking about this on the Lockdowners

  1. They don’t want to win. Tigers just won so it depends on the Rangers sweeping the Guardians and Astros taking last two games against Angels. Both highly unlikely. Astros were just lousy second half of the season.
