NFL Week 5 Prediction Dallas Cowboys vs New York Jets
Hello sport fan. This is Stephen here with Sports Choice Plus. I’m bringing you a very special breakdown. I’m going to be covering the Dallas Cowboys taking on the New York Football Jets. Before I get right into that, I want to make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel and have all the breakdowns and all the updates. Without further ado, let’s get right into this. Um, looking at the Dallas Cowboys, you saw how they tied the Green Bay Packers. And I’m going to tell you something. I’m proud of the Dallas Cowboys offense. A lot of times we see them roll over and lay eggs. Whether it be CD Lamb dropping passes, whether it be disconnection on the offensive line, whether it be the penalties that they’ve been having, but no, George Pickins and company stepped up. They ran the football when they needed to, got very tough yards in between the line of scrimmage, ran against a very aggressive and good Packers defense, got the individual yards that they needed to go ahead and extend the game and go ahead and tie the game up. So that was refreshing to see the the the the Dallas Cowboys were able to still bounce back, still have a great game offensively without a CD Lamb and George Pickins stepped up to the plate. That’s why you brought George Pickkins there. Eve, no matter if CD Lamb’s there or not, that guy that you’re seeing Dak throw the ball to when he’s throwing those floaters up, those 50/50 balls, he’s going up and coming down with them. And he’s he’s going up and making amazing catches, coming down with both feet inbounds, making big touchdowns for the Dallas Cowboys. That’s what you brought him there for. um against a Jets team that let uh one that possibly could have been their game slip away on Monday night. The Miami Dolphins lost to Hill and that pulled the energy out the arena. The Jets could not capitalize and get to Tua enough to where it made a difference in the game. The Jets season’s been up and down. And I’m going to say this, Justin Fields can’t throw the ball. I don’t know what I don’t I don’t know what else has needed to be said or done. Justin Fields cannot throw the football. There was times where he had Garrick Wilson running down the sideline and he just couldn’t throw the football. I don’t know if he was scared to put it in the window. I don’t know if he was not confident. But if you have a quarterback that can’t throw the ball down the field and put the ball in pinpoint places, and sometimes you as a quarterback have to throw the receiver open, there’s plenty of times where some great NFL quarterbacks, like Aaron Rogers, for example, will throw the ball before the guy turns his head around or will throw the ball to a specific area and a receiver sees it and says, “Okay, I got to get to this spot.” Boom, boom, boom, and I’m catching the ball. and they can shield themselves or it be over the shoulder or it be through a small window where they have to crouch and catch it. It’ll be a number of things that happen, but we we’ve seen quarterbacks have to throw guys open and I think Justin Fields is afraid to do that. Um the Jets offense is suffering because of that. And let’s just be clear, Tyreek Hill, if he didn’t get hurt, Tyreek Hill was going to go off in that game even more than he did. He was getting the targets, he was getting the receptions, and he was about to go off and get the touchdowns. If he doesn’t get hurt, this game is a lot more wider than we see. We saw Darren Waller do some damage against them as far as big catches. And the Jets, I don’t know what it is offensively. They can’t keep up with other teams and it’s it’s showing its ugly head in big games that that they need this offense. The defense can only do so much and let’s be clear, the defense is a championship style defense. They have players all over. You can only give your defense so many times where you’re just three and out, three and out, three and out, you get three points, three and out, you get two points, three and out, you get uh six points. like you have to be able to score consistently and give your defense a breather. It’s not like you’re going down scoring points instantly. It’s not like you’re marching down the field picking up sevens. So, I’m I don’t have any confidence in the Jets. I think the Dallas Cowboys are going to put the burn on them and they’re going to score a lot of points. George Pickins going to go crazy. Um even though um S Gardner is going to be there, I think they’re going to move George Pickkins all across the field and put him in X, Y, and Z and just not in the slot. I think that he’s going to do better just being outside of the slot. That’s going to open up the game plan for them. So, all you Dallas Cowboys fans, get in the comments section.
