NFL Week 5 preview: New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills | Chris Simms Unbuttoned | NFL on NBC

Sunday Night Football, the Bills at home against the Patriots. This is exciting because the Bills have become, you know, the Eagles are the Chiefs find a way to win. The Bills are the Chiefs play with your food team this year. They they were sluggish for two straight home games against the Dolphins and then the Saints. And here’s home game number three. The Patriots coming to town. The Dildos probably will be flying even though Tom Brady’s long gone from New England. It’s a tradition unlike any other. The Bills are favored by eight and a half points over under of 49.5. Who do you have? I’m like shocked that it’s eight and a half points. I’m shocked. I mean, like you kind of just said, like the the the Bills don’t, you know, haven’t blown out anybody. I mean, if Tua doesn’t throw an interception on, you know, the one of the first three plays you learn in your playbook in that game, it’s going to be a nailbiter. I I mean, yeah, they beat the Jets. I understand that. The Jets, that was a dominant football game, and the Jets did a lot of dumb crap on that day, and we know the Jets got problems, but I’m just not sold on the Bills to be able to dominate a team that I look at with the New England Patriots and go, they should be three and one. They they dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers and lost that football game. I think the Patriots will be able to throw on the Bills overrated pass defense. I do. And I think the Patriots are going to be able to run the ball on the Bills defense a little bit. And on top of that, the Bills pass offense has not been wow. It’s been their running game so far. And I don’t think you’re going to be able to run on the Patriots. I think this is this is set up for an upset. I I’m going with it here. I think the Pats Yeah, I think the Pat the Pats have figured it out. I think their D has figured it out and I think they can stop the traditional run game of the Buffalo Bills. I’m going to go Patriots 2724 victory here. Wow, man. That’s gutsy. Well, we won’t have a clean sweep then for football night in America cuz I still believe in the Bills. I just don’t think that they’ll cover the spread. 30 to23. The Bills get a late touchdown to pull it out. That’s how I envision it happening. But I won’t be surprised if the Patriots win. They could be 4-0. They should have beaten the Raiders week one. So, they are two and two. You know, it’s funny. You look at the Bengals. They’re two and two and they’re going to sink. The Patriots are two and two and they’ve got the potential even though I think they’ll lose this week to stack some wins and get to the postseason. Yeah, I think they’re going to be a little bit desperate because of the two and two. That’s kind of why I’m picking it too. Just, you know, I’m glad you brought that up. That was certainly part of my reasoning. Yo yo homies, it’s time to watch some games. That’s right. We’re on to the NFL season here with Chris Sims on Button. Hit subscribe to get our weekly pick. 1. I’m a diehard Pats fan, but I do not—Chris Simms—make my arguments based on thinking the Patriots should be 3-1. They aren’t. They are 2-2, and Josh Allen is doing whatever it takes to win because he can do whatever he wants. Bills 33-26

  2. The Patriots get better after every game. I'm not confident about them beating the Bills, but I think it will be very close. And we have three easy teams after that, which should build more confidence.
