I am definitely not scared, we match up well on paper but we should be the better, it is going to be an intense few days. Good thing this Brewers team is the Kwisatz Haderach and glimpsed the golden path!

believe it or not, the Padres had me much more worried. if we wake up our bats and get at the Cub’s bullpen they’re cooked
We’re not locked in there with them, they’re locked in there with us.
I don’t fear Cubs; the Brewers match up well against them and we’re probably going to defeat them in a 5-game series. The thing I dread is TBS showcasing the thousands of Cubs fans that you know are going to be in the seats at AFF and making sure to pipe that audio to the max whenever anything positive happens for them. You can 100% bet that this is going to be a topic during their TV crew’s preproduction meeting that morning. Their presence is going to get mentioned a billion times and I’m not looking forward to it.
I know this all sounds petty as shit but it’s just my thoughts heading into this series. But it just makes experiencing these games a lot less enjoyable than say, against a west coast team like the Padres.
All that said, go Crew. We can do this.

As a massive Dune fan I love this crossover and it is such a good reference for this upcoming series. The new films are what got me into it but I still need to watch the old ones! And finish reading the books.
We took 1st place in our division this year because we were the best team in our division. Fuck The Cubs! We also had the best team in the regular season in all of baseball. We are the best team in the MLB. We got this shit. This is our year!
