2025 Week 4 Cincinnati at Denver | Bengals Weekly
the last time we played these guys. 110 left in overtime. First and goal at the three. The Bengals trying to win it. Looking to throw his pass. It is caught by T. Higgins. Touchdown. Over. It’s over. Bengals. Put on a show. We found out there’s no place for a horse in the jungle. This time we’re going out west. Bengals taking on the Broncos. The air is thin. The stakes are high. Broncos Monday Night Football. Big game in AFC. Sort of a revenge game here. And every yard fought for feels like a mile. Good. We didn’t come here to breathe easy. At this altitude, your vision is clear. So saddle up. We’re taking the reigns now. [Music] [Music] Dun. Cue that Monday night anthem because the Bengals have a prime time showdown out west as Zack Taylor looks to saddle up his crew and ride into Mile High, ready to get back on track. Welcome in to Bengals Weekly. I’m Marissa Knipelli. Cincinnati still remains on top of the AFC North as they aim to get back in the win column in week four against a Shawn Payeyton le team that enters having lost back-to-back games. So, as we get you set for Bengals versus Broncos, our athletes are more than just incredibly talented football players. And we’ll take you behind the stripes with the guys as we show you how being a multiport athlete helped shape their football careers. The Bengals are giving back and we’ll tell you how the team is helping tackle hunger. We also welcome in ESPN play-by-play announcer Joe Buck to preview Monday’s tilt with the Broncos. And on Countdown, I’ll tell you what matchup will make NFL history as the first of its kind. But first, we begin by taking a step back to week three. The result in Minnesota was not what the team wanted, but the leadership in this locker room has been on full display. The team is motivated to write the ship and get back on track. Here is this week’s from the jungle. This will be the seventh time the Bengals have played here in Minnesota today. Jake will look to lead the Bengals to a 3-0 start against Wentz and the Vikings. We’ll see how that matchup goes. Battle of backup quarterbacks coming up here in Minnesota. And it is time for the pitch in the Yeah, I mean I think right before the half uh is is really when it it’s I think it snowballed. Viking defense comes up with four takeaways. Minnesota scores 17 points in the last two minutes. Our halftime score, Minnesota 34, Cincinnati 3. I mean, I think you got to sit in it. Like, we got to work today and uh and you got to sit in it and then you got to watch the tape and uh it’s kind of the same process whether you whether you win or lose, but obviously it’s just much more painful when you lose, especially the way we did. A loss is a loss, whether it’s by three touchdowns or by one point. You’re two in one. Do you just kind of take that approach, flush it, try to go to Denver and get to three and one next year? Uh we got to learn from this and short memory. We got to go. You know, this is a 17g game season. We played three so far and uh the Broncos ain’t gonna stop going. You know, we got another good team we got to face. So, uh just lock in from here, clean up the mistakes and we got a great team, man. We can bounce back from this. I think the way you handle adversity, you know, defines true character. And so, uh this team has been in tough spots before. Just so much football left down the road. And to me, you know, this is a a very much of a uh learning and growing moment for us. You know, we got to put this behind us. Five turnovers is, you know, that’s going to be the result every single time. Uh, you know, ball security was a big issue today. So, I mean, you know, a lot of self-inflicted wounds. The big main thing that, you know, we got to take away as a team is, you know, we got to play with a chip on our shoulder. Like, you know, whatever people say, you know, as long as we’re good in this locker room, we’ll be we’ll be just fine. Got to be able to bounce back. I’m very fortunate. It only counts as one loss. And collectively as a group, we got to we got to respond. The Vikings go on to win the game by the final score of 48-10. I think the starting point is you can’t go on the road and have four first half turnovers, two for touchdowns. I I know I said that last night. It sounds like a broken record. when every bit of momentum you get is then taken away. It’s tough. We can’t allow this to beat us again. You know, we’ve got to turn this into a victory in some way, shape, or form and grow from this. And so, again, we got to be a better team going forward. And I’m very confident that we’ll do that. I think guys had the right approach when they came in the building today. Position coaches are doing a great job attacking everything. We got to improve and we got to continue to build on that. Coming up next, we sit down with some of our multi-skilled athletes as we turn back the clock to see how playing other sports helped shape their football careers. [Music] Bengals Weekly is brought to you by Kataring Health, the official healthcare provider of the Cincinnati Bengals. Altaf Fiber, the official Wi-Fi and internet provider of the Cincinnati Bengals, and Payor, proud to be the official HR software provider of the Cincinnati Bengals. Welcome back to Bengals Weekly. Have you ever wondered what kind of power forward T Higgins might make? Why Dylan Fairchild has such strong hands? or how Jamar Chase makes back flips look easy. Well, it’s because each of these individuals did more than just play football as a kid. And they’re not the only ones. Many of our players competed in other sports growing up. And each one will tell you that those experiences off the field helped shape them as all-around athletes and improve their football game in various ways. We now take you behind the stripes with our multi-talented athletes. You know them as Bengals, but before they wore stripes, they dominated in arenas you’d never expect. [Applause] I definitely use my basketball game with football. I feel like that helps me staying square, boxing out the DB sometimes and going up for those jump balls. What a catch, T. Higgins. I was like a sprinter. I was a jumper. track kind of put me on the map because I was competed at nationals and then I ran a really fast 60 time indoors. When you compete against George in Arkansas in at nationals, then like, okay, he’s actually might be pretty athletic. So, it actually helped my football stop. That’s where Andre excels. He never gets tired. He’s in great shape. That comes from his track background. Track, we have to do long jump, high jump, sprints, like you’re just doing movements that you would do in any sport at a very high level. Excellent technique for Yosi Vos to get that little bit of separation. You can be big, you can be small, but if you can run and outrun a defender, then I mean separation really matters. So being fast is a big big asset to have for sure. Some Bengals shattered records on the track. Others displayed their mastery on the mats. Dylan Fairchild out of Georgia. He was 22 and 0. All pins. everyone. My last two years I was undefeated and those were the two years I won state. It was super beneficial for my mentality. Just like a relentless mindset, the hand fighting, understanding like hips, you know, just leverage, positioning, you know, it’s been huge for me like being a lineman. But Jamar Chase, well, he flipped into sports literally. Jamar Chase. Whoa, what a flip. I said gymnastics back in the day. They didn’t know that. I only did gymnastics cuz my brother didn’t want me to hurt myself. So, cuz I used to do back flips off trash cans, cars, and whatever else we could do back in the day. And uh my brother seen me doing it one day, driving past me when I was outside playing with other kids. And um later that night, he took me to a gymnastic center so I could learn how to basically do double back flips, land correctly, and just use the right forms. Gymnastics, I would say it made a difference just by being balanced. He’s down in a blender and he’s off to the races. Knowing what part of my body I have to control and stuff like that. There’s one Bengal that we’ve been waiting to tell you about who had three different division one offers in three different sports. So, in high school, I played football, basketball, and volleyball. Basketball was my favorite sport growing up. I wanted to be Vince Carter. [Music] [Applause] I actually got recruited to Penn State to play volleyball before I got recruited to play football there. Playing volleyball, it translated immediately to my athleticism to jump ball and, you know, I feel like I can go get it and high point it and have that hand eye coordination above my head. Just being able to, you know, get off the ground quickly and change a direction like that. with the clock at the top of his 66 leap. All three of those sports kind of played off each other and made me, you know, the athlete and the the player that I am today. Young guys in high school, don’t don’t just set your mind on one sport and be disappointed when it don’t go your way. Play multiple sports cuz you never know, man. You might be good at baseball, you might be good at soccer. If basketball would have been my ticket, then I would have went basketball. So, you never know. I just think it’s a good thing to do for the kid to find out what they like most. I grew up not in a great neighborhood. So, my parents put me in a lot of things to keep me out of trouble. I was always doing something dealing with sports. Try something, you like it or you don’t like it, you know, and then you just move on to the next thing. If you try something and you really like it, you just continue to pursue it. And I think it’s good for kids, you know, to be involved in sports. So, I mean, I know for me, like it gave me discipline, gave me a responsibility as a young kid and just you learn how to respect other individuals. I think really just playing sports in general teaches you a lot about life. Volleyball, lacrosse, hockey, like whatever it may be, I think they all teach their own lesson and have their own traits. Whether it be adversity they have to go through, being a good teammate or how it translates to, you know, just being a good person. It’s something that I I would encourage any young athlete to get involved in as many sports as possible. [Applause] When we return, we head out to the practice fields and check in on the team’s preparation for Monday night. Stay with us here on Bengals Weekly. Welcome back to Bengals Weekly. Zack Taylor’s crew is gearing up for a showdown on the center stage of Monday night. And as the guys prepare to face the Broncos, we wanted to get an inside look at their prep work. We now take you out to practice as we had Josh Newton miked up earlier this week. Damn, she got m up. Mhm. You got five miked up. What you going to do for me? Mhm. Run it. Okay. Together, huh? Loyal, huh? Got to be. Stay loyal. I’m the fizz, brother. Over. Over. Over. How you doing, Sergeant T? How are you today? Um, I’m doing well, sir. Wonderful. Wonderful. I’m expecting good behavior tonight. I’m expecting good behavior from this group right here on this 20 yard line. This whole day of practice, I am expecting nothing but the best communication. Get everybody lined up. I’m the feds today, so be careful. All right. It’s either going to build us or break us. It’s going It’s going to build us or break us. Let’s go. Push. Shoot. [Music] Here we go. Football. [Music] Yeah, there. [Music] You got to go. Come out here Monday. Show out on top of ball. It starts now. Here we go. Savages on me. Savages on three. 1 2 3 [Music] See if you behind me it’s harder. Yeah. When you can’t see me, you feel me? When I can see then I can make a move. I want a fast ass DD running behind you and just get you. You got to keep running. You got to respect the game for real. Y’all follow me to the QBs. XYZ. They know. Yeah. What’s up? You know I got your back on fire. You know we staying loyal right here. Yep. All right. Appreciate it. The camera on you five over there. You see? I had to come show you some love, bro. You already know that. The Bengals make their prime time season debut on Monday. Now, Joe Buck will be in the booth for Bengals versus Broncos as the ESPN announcer now joins Dan Hord to give us his preview. It’s the Bengals and Broncos on Monday Night Football. And it is great to catch up with a guy I first met when we were broadcasting minor league baseball games many, many years ago. ESPN’s Joe Buck. Joe, you were behind the mic two years ago for Jake Browning’s second NFL start. I call it the Jake Browning game. He completed more than 86% of his passes in an upset win in Jacksonville. What do you remember about that night? Yeah. I mean, uh, it’s like the Michael Jordan game, the flu game. Troy and I, I don’t know, halfway through that thing, we’re like, damn, this guy’s good. Like, he he looked fantastic. There’s a very basic scale that you can judge these guys on and and it comes down to can they play or can they not play. This guy can play. He’s got something to him. There’s something different about him than the typical guy coming in. I felt like he was confident. He looked like the team was his. I I think that’s another scale, too. It’s like, does it look like the the guys around him are excited to play with and for him? And I think the answer was a resounding yes. And I’m fully expecting he and they to come out and look a lot different than they did in Minneapolis when we all get to Denver last week. Did it change your view of the Bengals at all? Um the current Bengals, the Bengals as they are now. No. I think this is a team that can definitely hang in there. They can not only survive punches but deliver them. Troy and I are both big Zack Taylor fans. We had you guys in the preseason when Zach hung up on our Zoom call. We had a blast with him. You can tell he’s so smart. He’s aware of every facet of that team. We both hung up going, “We really like that guy.” And so, it’s easy to root for somebody like Zack. And this team can win with Jake Browning. And hopefully, you know, I’m not telling you anything you don’t hope for every night before the end of the year, Joe Burrow comes back. Joe, you noted it. The Bengals are still 2-1. and they’re tied for first in the AFC North. What are some of the things you you think they’ll need to do to stay in the hunt until Joe hopefully returns sometime in December? Find a running game. I mean, the running game has been frustrating to this point. I don’t care if you’re Joe Burrow, Joe Montana, Joe Nameoth. If you can’t run the ball, good luck. You know, if you want safeties and linebackers to bite and come up and leave room behind them so that there’s room for the great Jamar Chase and T. Hagens and Mike Cassiki and everybody else to get behind him and Browning or anybody else to find him. Find a running game and that can be the cure to what ails you. Joe, let’s talk about this week’s opponent, the Denver Broncos. They’re one and two, but they’ve had the lead in the fourth quarter in all three games. How do you view Denver and some of their strengths heading into this game against Cincinnati? Their defense is very good. They’ve got an outstanding pass rush. They’ve got the reigning defensive player of the year in Pat Certan. Offensively, Boon Knicks, they’re calling it a sophomore slump. I believe Denver’s a good team. I believe they’ve got a really good head coach. I believe they’ve got a good young quarterback. They’ve got Courtland Sutton, who’s a number one receiver. They’ve got some good twos and threes behind him. They’re one and two. You can make an easy case. They they should be 3 and 0. They could be 0 and three. So, I think it’s a good matchup. I I think it’s a pretty evenly split matchup as far as I’m concerned going into the game. But, they’ve got a lot of talent. They’ve got a coach that’ll figure out ways to beat the Cincinnati defense. That’s what he does. Shawn Peyton sits up at night figuring out ways to beat defenses and uh and I’m sure he’ll be doing it for Monday night. So, I’m I’m looking forward to it. Joe, this has been great. Look forward to seeing you in Denver. And thanks so much for joining us on this segment. Coming up next, we check back in with Dan who joins Dave and Jeff as the trio discuss three memorable Monday night performances in Bengals history. [Music] Welcome back to Bengals Weekly. The Bengals have won three of their last four outings on Monday night. So, it got us thinking, what have been some of our favorite Monday night games in franchise history? Now, the first that comes to mind for me was the infamous Tik Tok game, that 2020 defeat over the Steelers at Por Stadium. Let’s now send it over to the three best friends that anyone could have to take us on a trip through memory lane and get their favorite Monday Night Games. Dun, you will be hearing that theme song on Monday night when the Bengals take on the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football. And in this who conversation, we are going to pick out three of our favorite Bengals Monday Night memories. Lap, you’re up first. Dan, you’re going to like this one. The Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills put on a Monday Night Football show. The date, November 17th, 1975. It was a brisk night as I recall. A little chilly, but it was dry. It was a great night for football. The fans were in full throat. They had themselves a grand old time. There’s no question about that. The uh Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills lit it up. I mean, they put on a show. Monday Night Football, the fans love to see big plays. love to see big plays made by big time players and they got a lot of that in this football game. The Buffalo Bills answered with a ground attack. Kenny Anderson threw for 447 yards. I remember looking at him in the huddle a couple of times and thinking, is he is he conscious? I mean, he’s he’s playing unconscious football right now. He’s at such a high level. 3324 victory for the Cincinnati Bengals. But you’re up next. I’ll give you a little Howard Coell. I’m going to go that man Jake Brownie. He’s the man this Monday night and he was the man on my Monday night memory back in Jacksonville. Seems like about 80 years ago, but it was only two and it was his second NFL stat. Bengals had to win. Backs up against the wall Monday night and Jake Brownie put on a clinic 32 for 37 but it was 86% of his passes a clinic. And the guy he replaced, Joe Burrow, just like uh maybe 5 weeks before had lit it up for 87% in San Francisco. Talk about quarterback depth. So he’s in a duel with Trevor Lawrence, but he has the final say because he has that man number one Jama 76-yd touchdown pass. On the rush, this one floated caught by Chase and he is gone. Touchdown Cincinnati as he takes it into the end zone. Throws the thing into overtime. But of course, you need the reliable Ed McFersonson. Comes through a late Monday night, but a sweet one. Bengals and OT. Maybe Jake doesn’t have to go over the time this Monday night, but let’s have a repeat. That sounds good to me. I’m turning the clock back to 2014. This was year four of the Andy and AJ era. And as you probably recall, there was a narrative back then that the Bengals could not win in prime time. Well, they quieted that noise three nights before Christmas against the Denver Broncos. The star on offense, rookie Jeremy Hill. He had an 85 yd touchdown run in that game and finished with 147 rushing yards in all. And the star on defense was Dre Kirkpatrick with two interceptions off Pton Manning in the last three minutes of the game, including a 30-yard pick six. That was the coffin nails moment in a 37 to28 win. The Bengals intercepted Pton Manning four times in that game and proved that they were ready for prime time players. Three great Monday night memories in this Who Day conversation. When we return, we take it back even further and deep dive into the archives. Back to the Bengals first ever win in franchise history. From the Vault is up next here on Bengals Weekly. [Music] Welcome back to Bengals Weekly. The Bengals look ahead to week four’s tilt against a Broncos team desperate for a win. Denver is coming off back-to-back losses as they haven’t lost three consecutive games since Shawn Peyton’s first three games at the helm in 2023. Now, Zack Taylor and his guys are fired up for the opportunity to get back on track on a national stage in a hostile environment. It’s always fun, but the environment, whether it’s here or somewhere else, is always pretty special to be able to go and it’s nighttime and it’s always a great crowd and there’s always the buildup. But it’s it is fun. you know, you grew up as a kid watching it and so it’s it’s a special thing to be a part of and our guys will be excited for it. Great atmosphere. We’re going to be on the road my house city. Fans going to be, I’m pretty sure, tremendous. It’s going to be a great environment. We need to bounce back from the loss last week, put our heads forward, get back to the fundamentals of football, and really find a way to win on Monday night on national television. It’s going to be a big one for us. You know, we know the challenges that’s going to be, especially on the road on Monday night. We just know that it’s going to be a battle and that’s something that we’re prepared to, you know, fight all 60 minutes and even more if needed like we did last year. Our guys understand what it’s going to feel like a little bit. You know, you can get winded. So, as the game goes, you just have to be mindful of which guys are getting a lot of reps. You just got to get your body ready. It is what it is. You know, it’s part of, you know, part of the earth. It’s part of nature. Whatever you got to do to get ready for that moment, be prepared for it. It really is a big chance for us to to rebound and really a big challenge for us, too. They’re a really good team. They’re really big targets, so they’re easy for for Bo to find and get the ball to because they have a very wide catch radius and so we have to understand where those guys are and they’re they’re playmakers within their offense. Very efficient and you know he he tries to find his receivers when he can and if not he gets to the checkown pretty quick. Like he’s a really good quarterback. I mean I saw that last year when he was a rookie. Um I feel like he just you knowing on what he did last year and you know continue to do that. I think Shawn Payton’s doing a really good job with him. never goes down on first contact and so you got to be able to have all 11 hats to the ball and find a way to get him down. No matter where he’s been, he’s always found a way to be effective and that just kind of speaks to the kind of running back he is. They got a good front. I mean, they really their whole defense is really good. They’re good rushers and just they’re well coached. What do you think about the matchup you saw with Pat Certan and Jamar last year? And what are you expecting this week from him? Two great players. I’m not going to make predictions on on what they’re going to do to us, but great corner. A lot of respect for him. He’s a He’s a very willing tackle. He’s a physical corner. He can run. He can cover. He can make plays on the balls. So again, I I think really really elite corner in this league. And I think our guys always are up for that challenge. 57 years ago, Paul Brown’s Bengals made their NFL debut and it didn’t take long for the team to earn its first win. In week two, the Bengals played in front of the first ever home crowd in Cincinnati as they welcomed the Denver Broncos to Nippert Stadium. Let’s now go into the vaults narrated by Jeff Hopson. September 15th, 1968, the second week of the American Football League season and history when the Bengals claimed their first win ever with a 24-10 victory over the Denver Broncos. After a scoreless first half, the Bengals offense came alive and piled up 24 points. Leading the way was quarterback John Stoofa, who the previous December had become the first Bengal in history when Paul Brown engineered a trade with the Dolphins. He passed for 224 yards and two touchdowns, including a 58-yd strike to rookie tight end Bob Trumpy for the first passing touchdown in franchise history. Trumpy ended the day with 114 yards and began a star-studded career in which he rewrote the tight end position and was a historic moment for the newly founded Cincinnati Bengals. Coming up next, it’s Conipelli’s Countdown, where I’ll tell you where the defense stacks up and how some of the secondyear players are making an impact. [Music] Welcome back to Bengals Weekly. The Bengals return to prime time on Monday when they head west to Mile High in hopes of lassoing up the Broncos. And when the sun sets and the lights come on, well, the stars seem to shine their brightest. Trey Hendrickson looks to continue his Monday night’s tear. Trey has 10 and a half sacks in his last nine games on Monday night, including at least half a sack in each. Jamar Chase has caught eight touchdowns in his last four prime time outings and is averaging over 75 receiving yards in a touchdown in each game, as Uno has also recorded at least 50 yards in nine of his last 10 on the road. And Jake Browning is set to make his second career Monday night start. Browning is undefeated in prime time, averaging over 350 passing yards. Now, Monday’s contest will make NFL history. For the first time, the reigning Triple Crown winner will square off with the previous AP NFL defensive player of the year recipient as Jamar Chase and Patan meet at Mile High. Chase, of course, had a career year leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. Esser Tan posted a career-high four interceptions, 11 passes defended, and ranked first in fewest yards allowed to opposing receivers. Well, you don’t have to go too far back to find the last time the Bengals and Broncos met on the grid iron. It was week 17 of last season. Tied at 10 going into the fourth quarter, the Bengals prevailed in OT thanks to a T. Higgins game-winning touchdown catch. The Bengals trying to win it from the three- yd line of Denver. Burrow looking to throw his pass. It is caught by T. Higgins. Touchdown. Bengals. Higgins went off for 131 yds and a hat-tick, calling in 11 of his 12 targets. Trey Hendrickson, Joseph Osai, and Cedric Johnson all combined for two sacks on Bo Knicks as Jamar Chase added another 100 plus yard receiving game to his resume. The Broncos enter week four having lost back-to-back games where they blew a fourth quarter lead and lost on a game-ending field goal as time expired. Denver is one of 68 teams since 2000 to not have trailed in the fourth quarter in any of their first three games of a season, but they are the only team of that group to start the year 1-2. JK Dobbins has gotten off to an explosive start as a Bronco. Dobbins has found the end zone in every game this season and is the first player in Denver history with at least 60 rushing yards and a touchdown in each of the first three games of a season. Third and long went sacked. Chris Jenkins got there first, his second sack of the game. And the defense has been applying the pressure through three games. Chris Jenkins had a season high six tackles last week and is coming off a one and a half sack performance. Joseph Osai recorded his first sack of the year. Trey Hendrickson has at least a half sack in five of his past six games and at least one tackle for loss in seven of the last eight. And Josh Newton made the most of his opportunity last week. Fig only allowed one catch for five yards on four targets against the Vikings. September is Hunger Action Month and the Bengals have teamed up with the Freetore Food Bank to help raise awareness and funds. Now, one way that you can help make a difference is by purchasing the 2025 season shirt. Stop by the Bengals Pro Shop during the month of September as all proceeds from sales will benefit the Fretore Food Bank. Now, earlier this week, the Bengals helped Fifth Third and the Fretore Food Bank prepare over 4,000 power packs containing food items, which will be handed out to thousands of children across 20 schools in November. Last time I did a pack in boxes, I got yelled at cuz I messed it up. Try not to yell. I promise. Is there six in here? Yep. Oh my goodness. It goes fast. See, there you go. Round the world. There you go. And then pop the one out. Today we’re partnering with Fifth Third Bank and the Bengals organization to huddle for hunger. We’re here to make sure that we address the very strong and very unfortunate occurrence of food insecurity by partnering with Freetore Food Bank of the Bengals to pack 4,000 meals for our most vulnerable young people. Quarter underneath. There you go. There you go. Go. I got it. The entire partnership with the Bengals organization has really been tremendous. Open in Orange this year was a huge success. We also just celebrated our 23rd annual Taste of the Bengals event right here at Por Stadium. For those of you that do not know, there are 82,000 children in this community that do not know where their next meal is coming from. This event and free store food bank and what they do year in and year out helps fight that fight. The Bengals organization has really rallied around our vision of a hunger-free, healthy, and thriving community. One in six children in this country faces food insecurity. With the three of us, Freetore Food Banks and Sandy Bengals and Fifth Third Bank being so rooted in this community. It’s only apt for us to step up and lean in where we’re needed. Oh, they’re getting faster now. Okay, last one. Oh my goodness. Here we go. Okay, that one. It’s a fun experience or a good atmosphere we have here, I would say. So, it’s very rewarding. In fact, it’s quite humbling if you think about it. We have, you know, some great professional uh football players and a tremendous organization in the Bengals organization and Fifth Third Bank that has rallied behind us uh bringing volunteers to really make a difference. It’s neighbors helping neighbors. Coming up next, we share the story of two brothers whose love for the Bengals has cemented their bond. Stay with us here on Bengals Weekly. [Music] Welcome back to Bengals Weekly. Lifelong Bengals fans Jeff and Steve Nagel are as close as they come. brought into this world together, their bond has always been special, but their shared love and fandom for the Bengals has tightened that connection even more. Growing up as identical twins has been a true blessing to us. We’ve always been together. We’ve always seemed to do everything together. To have your best friend with you from the day you were born. Unconditional love. It’s something that we wouldn’t trade for the world. Hi, I’m Steve Nagel. And I’m Jeff Neagle. and we’re the Bengal twins from Dayton, Ohio. Sometimes I look at pictures and I’ll be honest with you, it’s very hard for me to tell who was who. But when we were younger, for some unknown reason, when you take a picture, mom always made sure I was on Jeff’s right side. And that’s how we always stand in a picture. And it’s just amazing. We’ll go to take a picture and we’ll move and they’ll be like, “Why are you two moving?” We’re like, “We have to.” Yeah, being a Bengals fan has been something that has been part of our family since we were kids with our aunt and uncle having season tickets and now my son has season tickets. And I think to be able to look back and see for generations, the love that we share for the Bengals has just continued on has been amazing. We’ve always been blessed to have our own amazing family oursel, but in the bagel season, the people that we’ve met from either players and their families or just even other fans down tailgating has been just an extension of our regular family. I mean, the love and excitement when you get people who are passionate about the same thing, share the same love together, it can really be a great time. And we have always joked that we’re blessed to have our Bengals family as well as our regular family because it just makes the game makes the experience um even more special. Right. One of the great things too about being fans and being close to Cincinnati is being able to attend some of the different foundation events that they hold. And one of the things that Jeff and I have always said is the very first time we met Ted Carris, just what a genuine person he was and how it came from the heart and how passionate he was about just trying to help others. And when you can feel that and sense that, it brings it full circle and it also gives a little bit more perspective to the game. Our family hates I can’t. Our family hates I’m doing the same design going outline. But we did it. Wow. And it is a wonderful thing. It’s a symbol of helping. Oh, you have done fabulous. You are amazing. Yes. You got to have some bling like the twins. I’m going to put it on. I’m going to put it on. Thank you so much. You got to be showing off. I mean, look at that. Okay. Not the right way. You need people like Ted and you need people who are dedicated, have giving hearts and we’ve always jokingly said too, everything needs a Ted. Steve and I both are in the hospitality industry and I happen to be a chef. so learned to cook when we were very little with our mom and our grandmother. And then Jeff went into the profession and now he is our tailgating chef, which is the best part of tailgating cuz I know that I can’t help win the game, but I know I’m going to win the tailgate if you eat some of my food. I would have to say that cooking brings so much joy to us because it brings back just amazing memories of being in the kitchen with our mom and our grandma. And then goes back to tradition. I mean I again it being fans is tradition and family and they always love to cook and it is just amazing to be able to go down to a tailgate and just have some really good food. One, two, three. Ta. You were second in line. Whatever. How are you, brother? Good to see you. What’s up, man? How are you? How are you? Come see him. Hey, how are you? Good to see you. How are you, man? How are you, man? Good. Hud Nation is probably one of the I would say one of the most giving, loving group of people. It’s tradition. It’s family. It’s something that you do. What’s been exciting for us after having season tickets for 42 years is the same feeling that we get going to every single game. And that’s why we love the Cincinnati Bengals and why we like going to the football games. When we return, it’s time for Social Spotlight where we’ll show you where the Bengals rank this season for touchdowns scored in the red zone. Stay with us here on Bengals Weekly. This fall, the Bengals have teamed up with Ohio to bring the jungle to you. Every Friday during the football season, we will be out at a different high school football game cheering on our local teams. Students and fans have the opportunity to take pictures with HUD, show off their best school spirit, and win great prizes. Rule your school and be on the lookout for Friday night stripes because the Bengals and Ohio Cat could be coming to your game next day nation. It’s time to recognize our high school coaches. Nominate your coach for the Bengals Coach of the Week presented by Payor. Visit Bengals.com/coach of the week for more information. The Bengals have teamed up with Carees Source to make the next generation of youth the most active and healthy yet. Earlier this year, Cedric Johnson, Jordan Battle, Dejon Anthony, Shaka Hayward, Matt Lee, and William Wagner visited the Rockdale Academy second grade class with Hudday and the Ben Gals to encourage students to form healthy habits and get 60 minutes of activity each day. Students participated in football specific stations including the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, football toss, and agility circuits. Each led by a Bengals player. To learn more, visit bengals.com/ community. Well, it’s now time for us to see what chatter has been around the wavelengths on the web this week as it is time for our social spotlight segment. And we’re going to kick things off by checking in on a stat from the Bengals offense. You look right here, PFSN pointing out the Bengals have a red zone touchdown rate of 75%, one of the highest in the league this season. We of course saw them find the end zone in that situation last week with a Drew Sample touchdown. Next up, let’s see what Chad has to say about the NFL’s posting of the best wide receivers ever. They said Chad Oasenko. Well, Chad disagrees with the league. He’s thinking it’s Jamar Chase. And honestly, Bengals fans, I would love to know what you all have to think because this could be a pretty heated debate topic. And our last topic on social spotlight, it’s tea time. T. Higgins went off in the jungle last year against the Denver Broncos. 131 yards and three touchdowns, including that gamewinner he caught in overtime. Now, make sure you are following along with the Bengals social channels. Stay in the know. All you have to do is search at Bengals. Hit that follow button. Well, the Bengals have their first prime time matchup on deck. Monday Night Football in Denver kicks off at 8:15 Eastern. You can catch all the action on your local ABC station. Listen in to Dan Hord and Dave Lapam on the Bengals radio network or check out one of the streaming options listed here. This includes the ESPN app, ESPN Plus, and NFL Plus nationally. Thanks for tuning in to Bengals Weekly. Kickoff between the Bengals and the Broncos is coming up Monday night. For Dan Hord, Dave Lapam, Jeff Hobson, and our entire crew, I’m Marissa Kipelli. We’ll see you next week. [Music] Bengals Weekly was brought to you by Payor, proud to be the official HR software provider of the Cincinnati Bengals. Yoshi problem isn't speed. It's route running ability. He can't beat most CBs in 1 on 1. Tinsley might honestly be that 3rd guy they've been missing since Boyd
reporter – "how do you not turn over the ball 20 times next time?"
coach – "we gotta improve improve improve team effort improve improve improve leave it behind and improve and imporve and improve and be positive and improve and be happy and grow and improve and improve and improve and improve and improve and improve and improve and improve and improve and improve"
reporter -"uh what about actual football?"

BROWNING SUX
EMBRACE THE ADVERSITY! WHO DEY! R.i. p. #32
Browning trash
Yoshi hasn't done anything in three games.
🌜🌜
Zac Taylor was a QB coach before becoming Bengals head coach. Browning has low QB IQ and Zac has no teaching skills that could help Browning get better . Browning doesn't go through any progression looking for a receiver.
Let's go Bengals! 🎉 Who Dey! 🎉
The play calling has to change for this game and every game from here on out!
The pass protection and the run blocking have to be significantly better for us to win this game!
Do us proud in prime time! Who Dey! 🎉
Yo #75 u an that O-Line Better go to work this week in Denver 💯 Just Do Ur Job 🎯💪🏻 Tired of this weak-Ass Blocking👎🏻 If I don't preform well at work my ass would get Fired ASAP 💪.. Y'all should TOO‼️‼️‼️‼️
Let's call it like it is, Taylor has lost this locker room and this ownership has let this fanbase down again.
Hopefully the Bengals will score a touchdown
I see the Bengals going 6-11 this season.
Key to success: GET CHASE BROWN INVOLVED IN THE PASSING GAME SIMPLE
LFG who MF dey🧡🖤🏈🤫💪🏽
C'mon , Bengals!! Let's win one for the GIPPER!!!
17:33 you can NEVER get rid of this unlocking vault noise. It's so satisfying.. like a golf ball ricocheting into the cup.. ASMR ppl where you at 😂
We are getting no decisions this game, fellow Bengals! 🙄
Fire Zack Taylor
Yeah were definitely losing this game am honestly losing hope for this season
The bungles are officially back.. embarrassing
This team is just a joke. Front office are idiots who prioritize the wrong things. GM that can’t sign guys to protect the most important asset we have. And a head coach that has the most incomprehensibly bad offensive scheme with a generational QB and WR combo. Zac Taylor is a joke. This franchise will never win a Super Bowl.
Why is Joe Burrow not on the sideline in Denver? His check should demand that his ass is on the sideline. He can at least cheerlead. Those receivers look like they are not interested. Browns family needs to wake the hell up.
The Bengals are terrible stop fleecing the fans
Fire Zac now!
New backup qb now pla
garbage franchise, this offense is a humiliation for the whole NFL. There are no excuses for stuff like that, someone needs to lose his job this is just a joke. you can lose but not like that, thats maybe the worst performance i have ever seen
