The simple fact is that this offense is not structured in a way to support a WR3, Austin barely gets much of a look at WR2. It’s built to go heavy, spread the ball to the open guy (often a RB/TE).
We’ll manufacture Metcalf his touches and get him some YAC, but Wilson’s only real chances are going to come through injuries – and he might have his chance if Austin isn’t back for the next game.

Yeah, I don’t think this is an offensive scheme problem. I just don’t think Tomlin, Smith, and Rodgers like him very much. He’s only still around because he was a 3rd round pick and it’s only his second season. Everyone is probably trying to work with him, but he’s just not getting it.

I knew ppl were getting overhyped for him when we built gameplans in the preseason with the main goal being to get him the ball and our QBs were still struggling to do it.
I 100% agree I saw him in camp at Latrobe and he was making a lot of catches.
