Top MLB Plays of 10/2/25 (Ryan McMahon makes one of the greatest Postseason catches YOU’LL EVER SEE)
The pitch swung on, smashed into right. Base hit. First major league hit for Chase Delotter. The only people nervous in this ballpark are the Delawater family members because Chase may be the most confident and most relaxed young man that you have ever met. Here’s the pitch. Swung on. A bouncer up the middle. Backhand behind second as Roio steps on the bag. one on the first double play. They call it Rotober here in Cleveland. The channel to right center field to Armstrong electric. Maybe no one better in the game anywhere than PCA. Fast down. Grounded to first. A rise gets one. Bogards two. Double play. And the Padres’s limit the damage. And Arise with a line drive dropped by Swanson. He’s got time. And Arise is out. Arise was well out of the baseline. It looked like he was heading back to the dugout. Get up. TBY Swanson. I mean, just the fact he was able to knock that thing down. And Daniel Palencia on phase 2 pre4. It’s a one hopper to a slide. Swanson. He does it again. You shall not pass. MVP of this series without a doubt. And now BCH drives one in the air deep right field. This ball’s got a chance. Good. Michael Bush, one of the hottest hitters on the planet going into this playoff, comes up big in game three. One and one the pitch. Merryill swings, sends it in the air to right field and deep. Suzuki’s backing up. He’s on the track. Still going back at the wall. This one going to go into the basket for Jackson Merrill. Padres’s finally on the board as Merryill hits a leadoff home run here in the ninth inning. And don’t go anywhere just yet. The seal has finally been broken. The 1-1 highf fly ball left center field deep. Quan back looking up. Gone Dylan Dingler. Tigers take a 2-1 lead in the sixth. First home run in this series and it breaks the one tie. And Merryill crowds the ball to shortstop. Swanson to the back. Swanson the first. Swanson to the dugout. He’s everywhere. You can’t do it any better than Dansby just did. [Applause] Glacius lines it to second and a leaping Nicoer. They tried somebody else. It was the wrong somebody. The problem is they tried another Gold Glover. [Applause] And Duran pops it up giving chase and making the catch and flipping into the Red Sox dugout. What a catch by McMahon. Ground ball to first base. This will do it. Torlson waves him off. Makes the play. Tigers win the wild card. It’s on to the division series in Seattle. Let the celebration begin. And what a feeling to be moving on to round two. First pitch swinging for eight in the center. Pete Pro Armstrong on a three hit day makes the catch. The Chicago Cubs are going to head up 94. They move on to Milwaukee and the National League Division Series. The one swing and a pop down the left field line looking for McMahon. He’s got room. He’s there and the Yankees have won it. They win this wildcard round and eliminate the Boston Red Sox. The final score, 4 nothing, New York. It’s on to Toronto.

The Boston Red Sox season is over, but do you think Marcelo Mayer will be able to play for Mexico in next year's World Baseball Classic? Will he be fully recovered by next March?
Do you think the Cubs' Javier Asad will be used as a relief pitcher in the NLDS, or as a starter?🤓
A question for baseball fans:
Will Jose Urquidy be used as a relief pitcher in the American League Division Series?🐯
Swanson playing elite defense against the Padres. Ryan McMahon with a high risk high reward catch
