    I spent +-3 1/2 years in combat zones, just so you understand I’m not some “armchair video game no it all”, & I give you my opinion with the utmost respect 🫡🙏‼️
    During the many months, prior to deploying, the classroom & physical training demands could get pretty intense, as I’m pretty sure you know‼️
    A Marine with 3 Purple Hearts, Bronze/w “V” & Silver Star, topped the colorful salad on his chest, a man I had tremendous respect for, told me one night when we shared a few beers & conversation, explained it to me this way, (after I bitched about something I don’t even remember),
    “EVERY SECOND OF THIS TRAINING & REPETITIVE PHYSICAL& MENTAL WORKOUTS YOUR DOING, IS DESIGNED SO YOU CAN MEET THE MULTITUDE OF CHALLENGES, DEMANDS, ENGAGEMENTS YOU WILL FACE IN COMBAT, & COME HOME SITTING UPRIGHT IN A SEAT ON THAT “FREEDOM BIRD” & NOT IN A CASKET IN THE CARGO HOLD🙏‼️
    THAT HAD A HUGE IMPACT ON MY ATTITUDE & PERCEPTION OF HOW I NEEDED TO TRAIN & PREPARE FOR WHERE I WAS HEADED‼️
    🫡THAT BIG OL’ MARINE, M/SGT CLYDE HARRISON, PROBABLY SAVED MY LIFE, & HELPED ME BECOME A MUCH BETTER LEADER, BOTH IN THE MILITARY & LATER, IN THE MANAGERIAL POSITIONS I HELD THROUGHOUT MY CAREER‼️
    Just some thoughts ma’am, to put a little different perspective on things‼️🫡

  9. Kicker makes a big difference. If they stick with Moody this would have been a loss. Also Jones is playing great! He’s getting the ball out quick and taking what the defense gives him. No turnovers. Purdy better step up his game because Jones is getting it done with a beat up team.

  19. This game defined the Niners. With majority of their power players out injured. This game showed they wont go down without a fight. GOOD JOB NINERS! I know Jones is still hurting, but i hope the long break he and the rest get a good recovery and practice.

  20. Eddy Pineiro went 4-for-4 on field-goal tries and made both of his extra-point attempts in Thursday's 26-23 overtime win over the Rams.

    Pineiro stepped up big time in Week 5, making field goals from 37, 20, 59 and 41 yards in the victory, the last of which was ultimately the final score of the game. The kicker has now gone 11-for-11 on field-goal attempts, including two makes from 50-plus yards, while converting six of seven extra-point tries over four games with the 49ers this season.
