Justin Jefferson on Setting Records in 2025, Making Big Plays & Playing in Dublin and London

[Music] He’s got Jefferson. He’s got Jefferson. Holy smokes. Justin Jefferson again. Justin Jefferson. He’s just too good. Go ahead and be the best player on the field. All right, Justin, we’re five yards away from ranking third in franchise history in receiving yards. What would it be like to be able Well, I mean, that’s you’re probably going to get it in Dublin. Um, yeah, I mean it it’s always cool to, you know, get the accolades and to achieve those, you know, goals. Jefferson breaking through. Look at Justin Jefferson. He can’t stop him. Caught Justin Jefferson. You know, I’m always trying to chase greatness and uh you know, that’s definitely the conversation that I want to be in, you know, when it’s all said and done. So, how do you define greatness? Uh it’s kind of crazy because you know uh you know ever since I’ve gotten to this league I’ve been a a big role on this team even without the ball in my hands you know I’m I’m still carrying uh a lot of attention. How is that different in from the beginning of your career and and maybe even further back like college and high school? Yeah. I never got as many double teams and and triple teams as much as I I do now. Uh, it’s very crazy, but uh, I had to understand that I’m still creating those big plays without even touching the ball. So, Justin, it feels like he’s been here forever. Talk about the person as well and the leader that he’s emerged into. Uh, you know, I have to talk to myself, right? I have to talk to myself sometimes and and try to, you know, you know, make the positive out of it instead of thinking about the negative. Adam Thelen back in Minnesota. How has that been being back with your guy? It’s been great honestly. Uh you know, just to have that happy vibe back in the building. He’s always ready to work and he always come prepared uh every single day and that’s what I love about him the most. He was that big brother to me and you know kept kept me under his wing. Uh and and that’s the same type of vibe that I try to have for him as well. This is your now third and will be fourth international games. What has playing in the NFL across the pond shown you about the impact this league has worldwide? When you see the fan base and you see the people excited to have an NFL game uh you know in their country or in their city, you know, it’s always love. There’s always so much energetic energy. Exactly. Exactly. I I mean I’m I’m juice for it and I’m excited to be, you know, in Ireland for the first time. What’s it like when you look up and you see your jersey? Pretty sick cuz, you know, it’s in a different country. They’ve probably never seen me play a down a football, but you know, this is the chance that they can get to see me up up close and personal. Yeah. It doesn’t seem like you take that lightly. Oh, no. Never. Never. That’s that I always remember uh when Michael Jordan said that, you know, there’s always, you know, a person that’s seeing you play for the first time every single game. I kind of try to keep that on my mind uh every single game that I try to perform and give, you know, everybody a show cuz of course there’s kids in that that stadium that wants me to gritty for the first time. Uh that wants me to have a a nice catch. It’s caught for a touchdown. Jefferson and he breaks out his first gritty in the 2025 season. is popularizing the gritty in the Pacific Northwest. Jefferson finds the money maker Justin. So it’s it’s always juices flowing and and uh I mean I always try to give the fans what they what they came to see.

  5. Of course the wins is what matters. But i enjoy watching star players be great. So i hope carson can step up bc i wanna see a big game from Jettas eventually or a 100 yard day at least

  12. I wonder why receivers can't get open much on plays called? Most of the times the quarterback never had an open receiver. That's why the quarterback has been holding the ball too long and getting sacks.

  22. i know jefferson kickin himself had he not slipped we wouldve won if wentz didnt show his interception machine side we wouldve won if o connell made less predictable plays we wouldve won and last but definitely not least. if not for justin fucking skule, we wouldve won. I knew it was most likely over when O neill went down. Skule just lays down and lets the QB get sacked. and gink really is the heart of the defense. no gink = no turnovers.
    Good come back but so many rookie mistakes. I worry for the offense against a better defense next week.
