Looked up the video cause I was wondering. Wow! Only 2k for what Greer did? Puck is on the other end of the ice, Greer cross checks him, hits him in the fave with his sticks blade, then one, punch to the face, Hagel obviously is looking at him like what the fuck and trying to protect himself, gets punched again then looks like he’s gonna do something else before he gets decked by another one of our players.
Roughing and a fine is all? He’s lucky he didn’t get fucking suspended.
Looks like he might run out of toilet paper.
Hopefully Greer plays Saturday and call up Schmidt and just fuck him up any chance he gets
Let’s hope the NHL sees the backlash from these half measures. If FL is gonna start this shit this early we can only hope the league office steps up and takes action before someone really gets hurt.
When the league doesn’t do anything the Lightning just need to match Floridas energy and get some guys who can target their players and defend ours .
I drove down to see a panthers game about maybe 6 years ago for the first time. 4 panther fans in my row kept booing offsides and icing calls. Yeah, really.
The fine should just go to the player you hit instead of to charity.
Would make it way less common.
So is this team actually gonna do something about protecting our stars this season?
