Dont really like compher on the 3rd line or at c, Copp was a better face off guy if I recall, same with Ras. But haven’t really seen him at center in a while.
Looks like Berggren is buying the next ticket to GR. JVR 13th forward for the first week or two as he catches up then put Copp back at c and put jvr in over compher?
Replace Compher with Danielson on the third line once he’s back and this is looking pretty solid!
I’ve thought Berggren looked better than Ras and Compher this preseason. We should honestly just trade him for a 3rd-5th round pick at this point. I think he could be useful but it’s clear we don’t like his style.
Flip soda and Copp (with third and fourth lines basically interchangeable) and I think this might be our opening night roster

What has Compher done, besides making 5 million, to deserve a roster spot?
Finsane in the membrane, top line is wild. I like Soderblom on that top line
JVR is going to be in the lineup. They didn’t sign him to trade him away before he has played a game. If multiple young guys claim spots, I think Compher and Ras are the two F to trade away. If Berggren can continue showing effort like the play he made to set up Rayzor vs Chi, he should be the rotational/extra F. But totally possible he gets traded if/when Nate and Mazur are ready.
This is what I want to see. I don’t care if we regress. I want to see the kids grow and build to the future.
To get to 20 – waive Holl, Hamonic, Berggren, get Compher out of here somehow, Rasmussen is easily replaceable. Keep Finnie, MBN, ASP with the big club

Everyone sounds like leaf fans here. Lol trade this guy trade that guy. So the wings are a team in the bottom third of the league and Ras is garbage. So who’s taking him? 3 million. Ah just trade him. For who? A 5th pick. Compher is trash just get rid of his 5 million cap hit. Too who again. Someone will want him.
I’ve secretly been hoping MBN would get significant time while Kane is still on the roster. Just as Kane has rubbed off on Raymond if MBN can add some that deception and patience to his game to compliment the goal scoring I think it would do wonders for him. Build up his pedigree to be RW2 when Kane hangs them up.
If Emmitt Finnie is 1LW opening night and we don’t replace the Jared Goff chants with Emmitt Finnie then I don’t hate Jamie Benn

These are exciting times! I haven’t seen such hype for a late round draft rookie since Datsyuk and Zetterberg.
I see two players we could wave to make to room for young talent on this roster, and poof you have a core to ride into the future with.
