I know he didn’t get to participate in camp – but he’s absolutely a future bottom-6 C in this league. Him and Oscar Fisker-Molgaard are looking like real future players for us with potential to be even better than that
This is great – hopefully he can get back in the swing of things with Everett and build on what he did last year
He got injured in the first preseason game for Everett and missed the rest of the games, not sure what he was able to do with the kraken during training camp either. I read somewhere that he got hit in the jaw/mouth. The real bummer was last season he got a bad ankle sprain at world juniors so he missed a bunch of the second half of the WHL season. Hopefully he has a monster year though.
Interesting it took until now to sign him. I wonder if Miettinen wanted to keep the door open to playing in the NCAA or if the kraken and he just weren’t able to come to terms.
