Right on schedule. I assume we practice hardest in the league because of Coulture
Calf soreness. Let him rest. We don’t want another Achilles tear
Wouldn’t surprise me if the Heat had that 90s/early 2000s football mindset of “drinking water makes you weak” 😭
Culture needs to start focusing more on rest and recovery.
We’re putting these guys through boot camp apparently
Bad Conditioning and playing through the pain is becoming a problem
Gotta stop running dudes in the ground. Every year with this BS man
The damn switch defense that destroys their bodies come playoffs time.
Probably just being extra cautious before the season actually starts
We act like the Heat are especially injury prone but in reality the entire league is like this. All these pro athletes are constantly pushing their bodies. Even if you find a way to skate by without training as hard, you’ll be more injury prone in scrimmages and games because you’ll naturally push harder then, but your body won’t be as prepared. The job is physically demanding to the point of pushing the limits of the bodies. The only way to avoid it is to be a bad player, at which point you’re out of the league in a few seasons at best.
lol calf soreness is an injury now?!?!. It’s definitely preventative so he doesn’t hurt himself further. Doing high active sports tends to have you sore sometimes
I mean it sucks, but its understandable. These guys are turning up the intensity after the off season of not going as hard in their own workouts.
We truly are ahead of schedule
All these guys are hitting NBA workouts after the off season, don’t think this is too uncommon
I believe these dudes are all fighting for a spot in the rotation since nothing is set in stone. Playing hard leads to sore muscles.
You can tell when people never played basketball for a real team before. Lol
