I think these moves are pretty telling of their shot at keeping McDavid around. Make the right moves sign the cushy coach who’s been along the ride with him show that you’re going for some depth like Ingram and shit

God I hope Connor leaves. What a pathetically run franchise. The corpse of Ken Holland followed by the corpse of Stan Bowman as GM. A plethora of horrible roster decisions and signings, and them just gesturing broadly at “see this is what we did for you” in order to keep Connor. There are at least a few teams he could get a pay day with and have better roster foundation to compete.
Still can’t see them winning the cup without a reliable goalie and better D 🤷♂️
Losing two years in a row at the Stanley Cup Finals is bad for morale. But promising that the team is capable of winning it all. I think they’re making the right choices, and obviously NEED McDavid extended still. I’d be making the same choices, you know, if they asked.
I wanted them to fire him and hire another guy with a dick name.
They went from Hitchcock to Woodcroft to Knobloch. Tippet was in there too. Just the tip.
