to put on a Rockers jersey. I know it’s going to be even uh it’s going to go to the next level. So, I’m looking forward to it. Go to the next level. Next level. Expectation, pressure that comes with being on this team and being expected to win games. I think that’ll make you a better player as well. The team feels it in the air. It’s something that wasn’t there last year. the possibility that they have enough young stars with the right amount of veteran accountability and a superstar to bring it all together. Executing from day one, so looking forward to that. Day one, no one in the gym is giving less than 100%. guys that can penetrate, guys that can create extra possessions for you, guys that can switch and guard multiple positions, length, athleticism, um discipline, um effort every single night, and camaraderie, you know, you know, continuity, all of that stuff matters. Actually putting in the work and trying to figure it out is is the fun part. Singon, I play with some I play with some bigs that are great at what they do. um great role playing bigs that can guard in the post but could uh that could set great screens um that can finish over the rim that can block shots. But I think you know I’ll be could pretty much do all of that a little bit of all of that and also um handle the ball like a guard out on the perimeter. So being able to have that at the big um that skill set on the offensive side, I just can’t wait to see how we come together. And what could bring a group together more than the belief that they could win? With the addition of talent from Kevin Durant, they’re all starting to believe. You know, Katie is every every kid. Uh I can say like one of hero, you know, when you grow up in Turkey, it’s that in Turkey, you don’t have that much um I would say like you can watch all the games, but you still know the you know name, you watch the highlights and everything. So you a lot of people heroes and you know it’s crazy to be same team with him and you know playing the same court. It’s tough to play against Kevin Durant but a whole another thing to play with him and these young guys are loving the experience of his playmaking ability. Playmaking is a team thing and I think that um you know as many u plays we make for each other throughout the game the better. You know sometimes you don’t always get the assist for it. sometimes just you don’t even touch the ball and you’re creating a play for your teammates and you know so if we play together if we play off of each other and we move our bodies and we move the ball I think that we all can um showcase our playmaking talents and um so we got high IQ guys on the team that know how to play so now we got to figure out what’s the best way to mesh on the floor being just the do everything 67 athletics just like a freak of nature [Music] um haven’t I don’t think we ever seen that type of athleticism the way he uses his athleticism. I don’t think we any we seen that in our league. So to be alongside that I’m I’m excited for it’s crazy. I’ve been watching him my whole life. Um I never thought I was going to be on the team with him. I didn’t know he was going to be playing at this time. Seeing him kill on TV and now I get to see it real life. So for me, I feel like I haven’t really done anything yet. So just um knowing there’s a highest level I can get to. I don’t feel like I’m there yet. So it always gives me something to work on every day. And having a guy like Katie out there, you know, watching him work, see how hard he goes. Um I feel like it’s kind of inspiring. You know what I mean? I’m really excited actually. You know, it’s been a few months now he been come to. I’m really excited to play with him. Uh we couldn’t spend that much time together, but you know, I’m here now and I’m looking forward to work with him, learn from him, and you know, win games together. So, I’m really excited. Actually, kind of fun to be in that mode, you know. So, um that’s my peaceful place is when I’m perfecting trying to perfect my craft. Every team is good. Every team has a good player now and good team, a lot of talent. So, it’s not going to be easier. team’s getting stronger and stronger every year. So, you know, I’m just ready for this this season. I need to play high level every game and do my recovery every game and after the game, you know, just sleeping, eating is not easy sometimes after the game sleeping, winning or losing, you know, it’s too much adrenaline, but you know, that’s when you get cough when that’s when you grow. So, I’m ready for it. and a lot of games we have uh you know I can just wait to see it as me and Reed can play me Reed Aaron because I could play point guard I could play small for like anything so just I feel like I don’t know it’s kind of fun just being able to throw out all those different lineups. Kevin was talking about your skill set earlier and how unique you are as a big being able to do so many things on the floor. How do you see your skill set, his skill set, complimenting each other, especially in the twoman game with you guys playing off of each other? You know, twoman games, off the balls, everything. And you’re going to help me a lot. I already know that. Uh I don’t need to help him that much. He already does much stuff. But you know, I can hopefully get a get him easy shots. I can because I know he didn’t get he don’t get that much easy shots in his career because all the who’s the guarding him is all focused on him. So hopefully we can make easy shots for him create a good shots. You know he’s one of the best scorer in this NBA history. So you know I know he going to make my job easy. Hopefully I can make job I I can make his job a little bit easier. So, you know, like you said, we have a lot of talent, but it’s end of today, he’s a hard worker, really hard worker. And this is really for us, this is really good for us to see. He’s really working hard, you know. So, we’re going to look for him to lead us this year. And I’m going to be helping him to lead this team and, you know, win a lot of games. So, I’m really excited. I heard some rumors that Houston wanted to get involved at the trade deadline too when Phoenix had um called around the league saying they wanted to see what my market was. So you know you hear all of these rumors and um you know where there’s smoke there’s a little you know that’s fire for sure. I just try to focus on the craft every day. Try to be better than I was yesterday. I know that um I can play a huge part in what we do as a team, but we are a team and we all have to bring our best every day in order for us to reach our full potential as a group. So, I try to focus on focus on the what I do the best and and and try to bring that to the group and also be as a resource or somebody who has some IQ, who has some experience. So, whenever anybody needs to walk or talk through anything on the court, I try to be there for him as well. But I don’t try to be too overbearing. I just try to go out there and play my game, work on my game and bring that to the group and be a good teammate. My phone always open, my door always open to come over and hang out, you know. So, I just try to I’m trying to be coachable every day and every day and learn and, you know, so I just try to be a teammate, man. I know I’ve accomplished much a lot in this league and people look at me a certain way, but I really really take pride and I really got consciously try to be just one of the guys every day. So, we got so many great pieces on the team that can complement each other well, but it’s all about the reps we get in on the floor and how focused we are once we get out there. This is ball fact.
