Why Tanking For A QB Would Be BAD MOVE For New Orleans Saints!

If you think this is a quarterback issue, I’d love to sit down and watch tape with you. I invite you to actually. Like if if you come on like anybody, a fan, anybody doing this job, if you come on and you’re like, “Oh, as a quarterback, tank for whoever.” Tank for who. Tank for who. Unless our Lord and Savior is playing quarterback for the Saints, I don’t think it really matters. That’s about the only person I think that could help you right now. It does not matter who’s playing quarterback. You can get the best guy on the board. It’s not a quarterback issue. It’s not when your offensive line right now and you go watch that tape. Pocket. What pocket? Pocket presence. How do you have pocket presence when there’s no good pocket? Who’s Tom Brady throwing that ball to if he’s playing back there? Who’s Drew Brees throwing the ball to? No idea.

  3. I didn’t see the last game but the first two had passes behind the receiver the vast majority of the time or it was at their feet. It’s a team issue, but to act like qb is secured is bananas

  4. I definitely do see it as a quarterback issue to start with. The offense line has been trash since Brees’ last year. A good QB can close games. The Saints have no one to close period.

  5. I’ll come watch all 22 tape with you. I’ll show you where Rattler leave a clean pocket, his eye drop to run and his ball placement on over 80% of his passes is horrific. The o-line hasn’t been great but they’re not ass bad as this crap you just put out there.

  7. All three fazes of the game have been trash for us, but of course everyone blames the young qb. Like he some sort of vet who’s been playing at the highest level forever smh Like he is Derrick Carr or Andy Dalton or Jameis Winston or whoever else stunk up the joint. Damn at least Peyton Manning and Drew Brees and every other qb had a chance to learn and lose for a few years before they became a household name but maybe its just me

  11. How quickly we forget Cesar Ruiz got Brees’ ribs absolutely crunched into oblivion in 2020. For some reason they paid him a second contract and he’s never played well his entire career

  13. I'm not really a fan of NO. I don't hate them either but let him go and he will Be a D Jones . They have to blame somebody in this most of the time it's the quarterback that gets to blame just like in Denver right now, some people's already given up on Nick's after one of the best rookie seasons at the quarterbacks ever had in the teams have lost to buy combined points is 4. It's a teen issue and they're getting it straightened out in New Orleans will do just as long as they can start on it now. What's the quarterbacks playing good know he's a god, but when he has a few bad games oh God he's just he's awful I knew he was awful. People are judgemental. Win as a team lose a team.

  19. Tanking isn't just about a qb but being in better position in every round ….also a top qb in a draft would be great to have it wouldn't hurt this is a dumb take to say drafting a top qb wouldn't help

  20. I’ve been saying this QB it not the top of our worries man this team right now has ZERO fight WRs ? Can’t get open man yes QB can be better at times and I wouldn’t mind taking a QB but man We need maybe 3 new offensive linemen to build with our Oline fr you have 2 tackles that are going to be pro bowlers but the guards ? 😂 🗑️ and you need a TRUE number 1 wide receiver and a true TE now the defense? Man need another safety linebacker and a trust edge rusher I would try to get a stud at each level of the defense for years to come
