Just think about what we’ve seen in the last week. The Packers huge favorite tie the Cowboys. The Bills struggle at home against the Saints. The Chargers lose to the New York Giants. And I’m gonna throw this one in there. the injury ravaged 49ers who didn’t even run the ball particularly well go to Sofi and beat a mostly healthy Rams team and Matt Stafford right now is playing better than any quarterback in the league. I mean it was jaw-dropping to watch. I mean my number one takeaway of Kendrick Bourne I know he went to my alma mater if he is eating your secondary alive we’ve said this now five times time at the trading deadline for the Rams to go get a corner. There was not a single receiver or tight end for the Niners that entered last night’s game who had a catch for the team last year. And think about this, this is not a great O line. M. Jones was gimpy, got hurt again. Christian McCaffrey didn’t have a big rush night. So, you didn’t have play action to fend off in the last three weeks. Daniel Jones, Jaylen Herz, and M. Jones, 100 passer ratings. They’re doing whatever they want to do. And and to make it worse, the Rams have a good pass rush. This is not like you’re sitting in the pocket all day. So the Rams, you can have flaws in the NFL. The Rams corners feel AJ Brown has eaten once this year. It was against the Rams. He had more yards in the second half than he’s had the rest of the games combined, I believe. So, and Kendrick Bourne, he’s a he’s a good solid three or four. He’s a nine-year vet. He’s a total pro. But for him to kind of do whatever he wanted to, that that is a major problem. Also, my second takeaway is the Rams are wasting an unbelievable year by Matt Stafford. This is his best year as a pro. You got two running backs, Kairen Williams and Blake Cororum. Cororum may be a bust. They have ball security issues. You got drop passes. I mean, the Niners special teams have been a liability for three years. It was the Rams special teams last night that were an absolute mess. So, we entered the season, remember, we entered the season worrying about Matt Stafford’s back. Yeah. You want to know why it hurts? He’s carrying the franchise. Two fumbles, three drop passes, a block pat, a missed field goal, and then stopped on fourth and one in overtime. He is 37 years old. He has a career-high passer rating. The Rams are wasting this year. They are wasting it with Matt Stafford and I these running backs are a problem and and they drafted this kicker and he’d been pretty good but when the Ner special teams are fantastic and yours are struggling you’re in big trouble. So I I mean I I their running backs and Shawn McVey this is driving him crazy. He got rid of Cam Acres because he kept fumbling. Kairen Williams now major issue. Blake Cororm can’t play. Another Michigan player behind that great O line with the Wolverines and Harbaugh gets to the pros doesn’t look the part. But I mean to go into that game M. Jones O line’s been struggling. Special teams have been a mess. Kendrick Borne who you have to rely on him. And M. Jones is throwing darts first drive on. Throwing darts. He got hurt late in the game, got back up, did it again. Here’s Shawn McVey after. We had a chance to close the game out and um and ultimately it didn’t go down for us. There was a significant amount of things, you know, for us to even be in it, you know, is a real credit to the resilience of the group, Jordan. Um you know, but you’re that’s not winning football tonight. Uh it it it is crazy in the last week what you see in this league. We thought, everybody thought like Packers, oh, they’re just going to mow the Dallas Cowboys defense and it is overtime, 4040 tie and Chargers lose to the Giants. Um, that that game is and McVey is a great coach and Stafford is unbelievable. And Puka Nua, is he the best receiver in the NFL right now? He may be, but it just goes to show you in this sport, you have got to have it buttoned up. If your running backs are fumbling in bad spots, one at the one and then deep in your own territory and your special teams are faltering. I mean, they the special teams in San Francisco have been a mess for four or five years. Like they they drafted a kicker in the third round. They booted him this year. Eddie Pinero is apparently Yon Stenerude. Like that kid hit a 59 yard. That thing went 70. So, you know, some nights, some Sundays in this league, you just scratch your head and you can’t figure it out. J-Mack, the blazing five in one hour. It almost made me second guess my picks last night as I’m going through them. But that was one of those. It’s one thing when the Chargers lose because their own line, they have no tackles and you’re on the road. It is another when the Bills are playing the Saints and they’re a huge favorite and they just play with their food and they look like they’re bored out of their mind. But to watch that game that San Francisco controlled and they were down to third and fourth string guys and the Rams have an elite front seven defensively and they just picked apart the secondary. It it felt like that was probably the worst coach game of McVeyy’s re last five years. I mean Colin they came out with listless no pressure on Nat Jones who was like a wounded animal back there and they were barely getting to him and then the cushion they were giving Kendrick Bourne. He’s not beating you deep. I was just so puzzled by everything from the Rams. And yet, if he had just had Matt Stafford pass on fourth and one with the game on the line, they’d probably get it instead of, I don’t know, running into Fred. What are you doing? All night long, my takeaway was they’ll come back and win it. They’ll come back and win it. I felt all night. I’m like, listen, Stafford’s on fire. Puke is getting whatever he wants. McVeyy’s a great coach. They’ll figure it out. And they just kept stepping in it. So, uh, Shanahan has now be beaten Seattle, Arizona, and the Rams in the division, 3 and 0. I I said early, remember, as in the preseason, I was saying this team could be in the mix for the number one seed. Con, that win last night was massive. Massive. San Fran, I think the NFC is going to go through San Francisco. So, I was looking at a number this morning. If you go to the first three starts of Brock Pury when he was 23 years old or in 2023, excuse me, Brock Perty in 2023, and that was the Niners team that got to the Super Bowl was stacked. You had KD, Debo, uh, CMC, uh, IU. I mean, they you had a stacked roster. His first three starts of that year, Brock Pury with a stacked roster, four touchdowns, no picks, 245 yards a game. That’s when he emerged. M. J Jones this year, and I’m I’m talking dealing with second and third stringers. Everybody’s hurt, has better numbers. So maybe I should stop burying guys named Jones, Daniel and Mack. Uh he clearly wasn’t washed. Maybe he just had to wash the Patriots stink off him because he was great last night. He did not have much of a run game. I mean the front for the Rams is outstanding in passing yards per game. San Francisco now between Pury and M. Jones has two of the top three in the league. And it just shows you the power of these great offensive coaches. I mean, they they took a couple of shots on McVey on the sideline. He looked stunned. I mean, can you imagine if Kyle Shanahan ever got somebody with a size and strength of a Josh Allen or a Mahomes or a Justin Herbert? I mean, he took kind of thin bordering on skinny, immobile Matt Ryan and made him MVP of the league and they almost won a Super Bowl. But what he is doing with M. Jones, and that’s what I’ve always said, M. Jones and Brock Pury. I think Brock Pur’s better by that much. Brock Pury moves better. I think Mack arguably has more velocity on his ball. But I mean, they had no run game. They have a shaky O line and M. Jones ate it up. So, and and by the way, Kyle Shanahan, M. Jones isn’t being the substitute teacher. It’s not a lightweight workload. They’re asking he leads the NFL in pass attempts with backups and getting getting banged around. So they this isn’t the substitute teacher that comes in and you know you watch a movie in class in the fifth grade like this is a real assignment. He is forcing M. Jones to lead the offense. My job was on the floor with this thing. I mean in in in in a league where upsets happen all the time. This won’t qualify as a big upset. Okay. because they’re rivals and they’re in division and the Niners are a great franchise, but this line was creeping up to eight eight and a half points. Okay, this line was bigger than the Cowboys Packers line. So, this won’t qualify as an upset, but what Mack was doing off in deep in his territory with no big run game. McCaffrey was good in the pass game, but they averaged about two and a half yards a run. That was a big boy assignment. Big lift. Here’s Kyle after I was real pressed. You know, he he played he played his ass off, man. Um was unbelievable in the first half. Um got banged up a little bit there um in the second half and battled through it and um protected the ball going against that defense and throwing the ball that many times and not having a turnover and um protecting like he did. I can’t say enough good things about Mack. I mean, we’re we’re seeing this over and over in the NFL. M. Jones, Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, to some degree a couple years ago, Gino Smith, is that you didn’t get second and third chances in this league. But the the football gods have granted us so many smart young offensive coaches that Baker Mayfield just had to find the right coordinators and the right fit and Sam Darnold had to find the right Shanahan to Okonnell. it. This didn’t used to happen. I mean, Drew Brees moving to another organization, right, and being replaced. Okay, we’ll take Philip Rivers, you move on. A lot that was an outlier, but it just like it happens regularly here. I mean, Daniel Jones two years ago, I’m like, this is not a franchise quarterback. And I’m watching him now and he’s eating up the league. And M. Jones looked unathletic, kind of pouty. People didn’t like his temperament. That’s the That’s the best he’s ever been as a pro. That is the best M. Jones has ever been as a pro. That was not an easy lift. They’re asking him to throw 3540 times against that pass rush. But the other thing about Shawn McVey is um and it’s like it’s it’s like he’s done Tony Robbins classes. It’s very hard to criticize somebody when they own it. When somebody is defensive, the wolves come out, the knives get sharpened. But last night, Shawn McVey of fourth and one, you know, overtime chance to win went really vanilla and uh ran a ball straight into the line. And I love Shawn McVey, but I’m like, Stafford’s on fire. I don’t know if I trust those running backs. Uh, in fact, I don’t. Uh, and but here’s the thing with Shawn McVey. He was asked about it after. Listen to his response. It’s a bad call. It’s a bad call by me. It was a uh poor decision by me right there. In hindsight, I wish I would have, but uh no, we we we came in here to try to win the football game. It didn’t go down for us, Gary. That was that wasn’t even a thought, but uh the play selection was very poor. I’m sick right now because uh I put our players in a spot. Where do I go with that? He feels sick to his stomach. I mean, you could watch him on the sidelines after those fumbles. When somebody beats themsself up, what am I supposed to say? I feel I now this morning after that play call, I’m like pulling my hair out going, “Sean, you’re probably one of the smartest coaches in league history.” And then he just says, “That’s terrible. Where do I go? What am I supposed to say?” Yeah, I felt terrible for him. I I will say this. Um, I I would have, you know, it I don’t like second guessing play calling. It’s just not my thing. I think we in our industry, um, and I had this conversation with a very very very good, smart, Super Bowl winning NFL person years ago is that we don’t know. We haven’t looked at film. We don’t know the injuries. Um, you don’t know what works. Um, I I I this felt incredibly vanilla to me, but it wasn’t offense that hurt them last night. It was fumbles and special teams. Um, it it it wasn’t the ability to pick up yards. So, um, you know, I have a problem when Matt Eber flu loses, you know, on a Hail Mary and one of his players in the back end is selling popcorn, you know, with fans and he’s like, I don’t have a problem with it. No big deal. I wouldn’t do anything differently. That drives me crazy. when McVey owns it. Where do I go with that? I feel terrible for him. I mean, you can tell he just and McVey is not a good sleeper anyway. He may not sleep for a week. So, I got to ask you about last night. I can remember this years ago. I always thought fumbles, Julian, were random, but they were except for the Patriots, which a team that didn’t fumble. So, I’m watching that game last night. Blake Cororm, Kyron Williams had five fumbles last year. And like ball security, Matt Stafford had one of the best nights he’s had as a pro and they lose at home. Much healthier team. What did New England do all those years? Because after seven or eight years of not fumbling, it’s not luck. Did Did the Patriots just concentrate on it more? Yeah. You know, we we used to have a motto, ball security is job security. and Bill would literally, which I’m sure right now North Carolina is hearing the same pitch. If you carry the ball in your hands, you’re carrying the fate of the whole organization in your hand from Nancy Meyers upstairs to the marketing department to the guys in New Hampshire that are rooting for the team. That’s that’s how important the ball was. And we would start off every day of practice after our warm-up, we would do a ball security drill where we’d sit there and we’d have, you know, you run down 53 yards and back with the guy in the back of you trying to take the ball out. You’d hold two balls and you have two guys hitting you. We do the stumble bum on every third step. You would go down to the ground and and try to uh simulate when you put your hand on the ground how vulnerable the ball is when you pull it up. and you’re always trying to get three points of con uh three points of contact on the ball with your forearm the top and keeping it nudged in. So, we used to talk about it and when you talk about it uh you you you subconsciously think about it. We would also have cutups of that defense that we were playing that specific week. A 30play cutup of if they were a ball hawking team. You know, I vividly remember the Ravens. They’d always come after the ball and you’d have Chad O’Shea come up there and have 30 plays of plays of the defense trying to get at the ball may not have been a fumble, but just to show that they have that in their weaponry. So, we were very conscious about it. I I can still remember like the three times that I fumbled because it was such an important thing. Ball security is job security. So, I you know, I’ve seen Darnold and Baker and Daniel Jones and now M. Jones be reborn. I I was so impressed with him last night. First of all, anytime a player gets hurt and stays in the game. I mean, that’s something because he’s hurting way more than I’ve ever been hurt in my life. Kendrick Bourne was his go-to guy. What did you make of M. Jones last night? He he played great. I mean, he threw for what, 342 yards, two touchdowns. He’s 3 and 0. Um, this is a heck of a start for the San Francisco 49ers. They they’ve really had to overcome some adversity. I thought it was really going to hit them hard last night not having Nick Bosa out there because how are they going to get that that uh that closing stop at the end? And they were able to find a way to win the game. Kendrick Bourne and M. Jones, they clearly have some uh chemistry from New England. Uh and and look, we’ve seen M. Jones play good football in New England. It was never about him playing good football. was about how he handled success and his body language and he’s obviously matured over this these last couple years because he looks like a different player. You could see him on and off the field, how he handles himself with how he spoke at the podium after the game. He’s been humbled. This game humbles you in some form or fashion and it buries some guys and M. Jones, you know, he’s shown that he’s resurging from it. Yeah. Accurate, good velocity, back shoulder throws. Really impressive. Uh, I’m going to get Yeah. Yeah. I I want to talk Drake May. Um, I got to tell you, last couple of weeks, he doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. They’re not putting a ton on his plate, but he moves well. What are you hearing from Vrabel in New England on Drake May? Because it looks like they found their guy. Yeah, I I think they they found a guy that they can think can become the franchise guy. I mean, it’s still super early in the in the evaluation process. last week or two weeks ago, they turn over the ball five times. He had a couple fumbles. He’s, you know, he’s taken care of the ball throwing it, but you know, he’s still got to win these games and and this is a good situation for him now because after the loss, how did he come and show up the next week? They go out and blow out the Panthers, who’s a great slump busting team to play when you’re not playing very well. And he handles him the way you should handle him. So, this is going to be the ultimate test when you got to go play the big brother in the division who’s been, you know, embarrassing the team for the last few years. And and it’ll be really interesting to see if he could carry over all the success he’s had these last couple or last week, not taking care of the football, making plays in the red area when, you know, he has to with his legs, not overusing his legs, not getting hit too much. Offensive lines playing well. I I think that they match up very well against Buffalo, but they’re going to have to play a mistakefree game to beat the Buffalo Bills. You can’t go in there and turn it over two times, one time. They’re going to have to play sound football. And if he can continue that, then you look that look at Drake man, you say, “This is our guy.” But he’s still super early. He’s shown signs, but you can still see that Rabbel’s out there. You know, they each challenging him to be a leader. He wants to see more. There’s there’s there’s he’s still a baby. He’s still a baby. So, it’s been great to see some of the success he’s had. And there’s been great situations get lose a game you should have won, come back, you know, ignite the offense and play a a a mistakefree game the next week against the Panthers. Let’s see how he rolls in against the Buffalo Bills because this is the ultimate measuring stick for him. Well, it doesn’t happen often, but I’ve spent the last week uh defending Aaron Rogers, and my take is he is the lowest rated quarterback according to PFF. And the reason being is he’s not throwing the ball down the field. My take is is that Aaron, and this happens in real time, realizes his defense has been so dominant in field position and taking the ball away that Aaron over the course of a game is like, “Well, what’s the point if we’re running it? Okay, I’m not throwing the ball down the field.” He’s developed a relationship with DK Metaf, who’s a great player, but kind of an emotional guy, still very young. And and my take is, and it’s nothing against PFF or a grading system, but I do think a quarterback, part of his job is over the course of a game. If you’re watching your defense take apart the other team’s offense, okay, put away some of the, you know, erase some of the big swings down the field. And I I think Aaron, people think Aaron’s being conservative. My take is no, he’s being smart. There’s no reason to take big swings. What’s your take on his season? I agree with you a thousand%. He This is what you signed up for when you you wanted Aaron Rogers. A guy that’s going to get you in the right play. He’s going to take care of the football, play situationally right on third down and in the red area. And that’s what he’s been doing. He’s actually moved around a lot better than he has in the last couple years, too. I mean, two years off the Achilles, he looks great and he can still throw the ball. Aaron Rogers has forgotten more football than probably 70% of these other quarterbacks. And the fact that he can go out and manage the game the way he has shows that. I mean, it’s been really impressive. I think this is one of the biggest surprises of the season. Yeah. And uh you know, you you look at them and I think they’re only going to get better because time on task together. They’ve only had four weeks. You know, they didn’t they didn’t have a full off season. And good quarter. I remember Tom always used to say, you know, the older he got, he would always say the game gets easier because he knows the answers to the test. It’s it’s if their body can allow them to do it, and his body can still allow him to do it. He understands that he doesn’t need to take a a big hit on a second and 10 early in the game, just throw the ball away. He’s not going to put his team in jeopardy of throwing crazy deep balls in triple coverage because he doesn’t have to. Because, like you said, his defense will get him a couple turnovers. He’s playing the game the way the the Steelers kind of used to play the game with Big Ben when Big Ben was rallying the team. You know, you’d have one or two big plays, but it was always kind of a muddy game, play to the defense, have a good couple special teams play. The Boswell guy is great kicker. So, he’s got a lot of great things going in his favor. I’m super interested to see how he does in these next four weeks. Um, so the Eagles aren’t doing anything well offensively, and it’s obviously not personnel. Um, so, soi is not a big scheme guy. He’s more the walkaround CEO, kind of the culture builder. So, he’s very reliant on his offensive coordinator. When he had Stiken, Super Bowl, he went to Brian Johnson, kind of a it didn’t work. Uh, that he’s Kell Moore. Okay, it works. And now he brings in a new guy, it’s not as good. So, so it could be a coordinator thing. But I my question to you is you mostly had the same coordinator, but in in from your experience in football, what’s the difference between an okay coordinator and a great coordinator? Because Philly based on their offensive coordinator has been a different offense through the years. Well, I was fortunate enough to play with two really good offensive coordinators, Billy O’Brien and and Josh McDaniels, which they had different wrinkles, but a lot of the same similar values of how they want to call the game. Um, I still think this is early in the season for Kevin Pluto or or Kevin Pulo and this offense. I mean, they’ve only been together for four games. Last year at this point, we thought the, you know, the Eagles were not going to make the playoffs. what are they one and three or two and two? They weren’t playing good until that bye-week came. So, I still think that they’re trying to figure out their offense uh what they are and their identity this year. I mean, and that takes a that takes a while. I mean, they they’re still 4-0. They’re collecting wins and winning ball games when they’re not playing their best. So, you can anticipate that they’re going to figure out, all right, well, we do these things very well through the first four weeks. We don’t do this very well. Uh let’s scrap that. Let’s get to this. let’s let’s try to kill this tendency. And I think that’s the part of the the season that they’re in. I think it’s a little too early to say that they’re just broken on offense because there’s only been four weeks and they have four wins. You know, you have AJ Brown who’s a talented receiver who can make your plays on the outside. Um I I’d anticipate they’d start moving him around and scheming him open because it seems like the only route he runs is a nine stop a nine yard stop route on the outside on third and long when you know it’s man coverage and a lot of these corners are now squatting on it. So you know they’re taking that away. Uh I I think a good offensive coordinator they’ll start moving AJ around trying to get him the ball early to get him happy because you got to keep him happy. Uh, I’m still kind of broken on how to like evaluate the Eagles team because last year I thought all the distractions were going to be a lot and they won the Super Bowl. It seems like they’re going down that same road, but they’re even better this year than they were through the first four games than last year. So, let’s just keep on watching this thing out and see how it unfolds. I think they’ll continue to get better. Um, so the Chiefs offense had been I mean like a water pistol. They bring in Xavier Worthy who’s not a number one. He’s kind of a speed gadget guy and they bring him in and it looks like the best off. It looks like the Tyreek Hill Chiefs offense of four or five years ago. And I’m like, well, Worthy is not a number one. He is kind of a gadget guy, but it does illustrate when you bring in an over-the-top player, it opens up stuff for even running backs. Um, well, give me your experience on that. We don’t look at Worthy as a as an elite Justin Jefferson or Puka Nakua, but it’s like just inserting him changed the entire offense. This reminds me a lot of when we’d have a guy like Philip Dorset or Brandon Lfell and our offense was cooking the most when they would make one or two plays down the field because it’s it it’s it uh it makes the offense have to defend every blade of grass. And that’s what speed does. I mean, if you looked at the Kansas City Chiefs the first four weeks, they were slow on offense, very slow. So then you can condense the middle of the field and the production for all the guys that eat in the middle of the field are going to be harder to get because they don’t have anyone that threaten down threatens them downfield. And that’s what he does. I mean, the speed, all he’s got to do is make one play and get behind the defense once and it changes the whole complexity of how that defense is going to defend him because if they don’t want to get beat deep, they rather have Kansas City go on a 14play drive and and and try to make them lose in a situational battle on third down or in the red area and collect three points. So, I think it’s a huge addition to get Xav Xavier Worthy because the speed it opens up the offense and they’re going to get even better when they get Rasheed Rice back. Uh, you know, this is this could be a scarier team than they were last year. They’re going to have more offensive weapons this year uh once they start getting their guys together. So, I’m excited to watch them in this next four. Finally, you got inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. Uh, that’s pretty cool. I mean, considering your life, where you’re from, uh, take me there. What was it like? Yeah, it was it was an absolute unbelievable honor, uh, to be on the same stage with, you know, Coach Parcels, Braves, uh, Stanley Morgan, McGinness, Coach Scar, all the guys, the former inductees. It’s just absolute honor. And you know to to say back in my rookie year when I was changing positions from quarterback to receiver that I’d be in the Patriots Hall of Fame, which is arguably, you know, a top top one to two three organization. Uh it’s pretty surreal for me. It was an unbelievable honor to have my family there, my little girl, my brother, my sister, uh my my my my parents because it’s ultimately an award for them uh for for them being in my corner through the highs and the lows. Uh you know, fam football is such a family sport. There’s so many sacrifices you have to go through if you want to be a um a competitive professional athlete. And those sacrifices are saying no to, you know, your loved ones and and you’re really a mercenary. And to have people that were in my corner and understanding what I was trying to do in my career, you know, helped me get through it. So, it was it was an unbelievable day. Thanks to the Craft family. They had an awesome production and uh you know, it was a pretty cool surreal moment. Julian Edelman, Fox NFL Kickoff, Sundays on Fox. It’s great seeing you, man. On Fox. Wish I had scooped up some Mac Jones RC and autos while he was down
this just proves that the controversies only start with media, couple years ago the big story was purdy, he was doing great things, he gets injured, has a bad game (both which all great qbs have been through, and all the sudden our backup starts playing great, not taking away from him in any way, were truly blessed with such good insurance of a backup. but it’s as if everyone completely forgets what brock has done, the media and our fan base too, way too quick to jump into conclusions regarding brock, we’re is the support? you keep hopping around with opinions every time something goes wrong eventually we won’t have a qb at all. be reasonable niner gang
If I was the 9ers brass, I'd be a bit nervous… I never thought they should have paid Purdy top of market money. That's absolutely crazy. Always was. Still is. Dude can't stay healthy. And now they have Mac freaking Jones balling out. The 9ers should ALWAYS have a stacked roster, cuz they shouldn't ever be paying gigantic money to their QB, because their system is SO QB friendly.
Mac Jones played well, but he did a lot of underneath stuff. More scheme than outstanding play. And Jones got pummeled. Everyone wants a QB controversy, but Jones will be lucky to last until Purdy is ready to play. McCaffrey was the best player on the Niners. Stafford, on the other hand, was the only reason the Rams were even in that game. Take away their miscues and they win by 3 scores. I don't know why he didn't go to Nacua more.
That bad call is up there with Pete Carroll's bad call in the Super bowl when he decided to pass instead of giving Marshawn Lynch the ball on second and goal on the one yard line.
This narrative is really tiresome and sick. It seems that Coward needs to get a room with Shanahan and they can work things out. Maybe they can even bring in Purdy and Macaroni and Cheese.
The betting line is not a prediction for the game outcome. It's to get the public to bet evenly on both teams.
Why do I think somehow someway ole Poles will lose Jalen Johnson to Rams coming off injury next year
Stafford is playing great but acting like he's "carrying" a team with this much talent is ludicrous lol
Is this the same NO nothing 🤡, that ranked the Rams #3 best in the NFL, above the Lions? Yes, yes it is…🥴😂🤣😂
It’s impossible to take this fool seriously…
Colin, with all due respect… shut up.
Colin I love you my guy and I love your show. I watch all the time. My man, you make a ton of great points but my guy some of your takes are all over place…
The fact mac jones looks like he does with shannarat just makes billicheat look even worse than he already does and that's bad considering he couldn't even get a sniff of a headcoaching job with even the worst organizations in the NFL then best he can get is a non powerhouse coaching job in college. The more we see the more of a fraud billicheat looks like minus Brady! I always suspected it all along! I also have a feeling the cheating billicheat got away with way outweighs the cheating he got caught at. Its like anything else in life you get caught drinking and driving 1 time you can bet there were at least 20 times you didnt get caught.
Is this dude comparing a rookie w/ a veteran?
Record field goals AND record blocked kicks in the same season?
Just call me Mister Flip Flop!!!!
Mac has proved he can be good with competent coaching and talent around him but New England turned into a dumpster fire, 49ers are in a tough situation with 2 viable starting QBs but I think you have to play Purdy with the contract and he led you to a Superbowl, but if his play continues to slip might have to give Jones the nod
Everybody buried Mac Jones. He was in a weird situation at the end in New England. I think most quarterbacks would’ve struggled in that situation.
I’m no Kyle fan, but he had a good game plan and Mac threw the ball really well.
I see other people commenting on Trey Lance. How bad must he be if a “genius” like Kyle couldn’t turn him into a serviceable quarterback?
Not surprised that Colin is pumping up Mac. He’s never really liked Purdy.
The only surprise is that Colin did a segment without mentioning Aaron Rodgers 😅
There is zero controversy
The media is why we get certain bogus narratives and then games turn out nothing like the nonsense these media personalities thought.
He hasn’t explicitly said it, but I think it’s safe to say Colin is a Rams fan
Mac Jones is playing his way to another starting role in this league. Hope he gets with an offensive minded coach and thrives
All these teams with “concerns”, or are “contenders”, we should wait and see what it all looks like when December rolls around.
Unless it’s Eagles, Chiefs, Bills or Lions, let’s wait a bit here.
McVay is a really good coach but he’s only been successful when he has a stupid stacked team and one of the best quarterbacks ever. Give Kyle stafford and he would of won 5 super bowls already
Where Colin was wrong….
This dude spits nonsense week after week
Why is this a surprise? 😂 The best QBs go to the worst teams
We Gucci Brock Purdy is our starter Mac jones is the backup Colin needs this controversy for ratings Remember Nick Foles what happen to him after he lead his team to the Superbowl
He always taking shots at Michigan
That question to Edelman could be answered with one word: deflateGate.
It’s too much of a statistical outlier. Troy Aikman answered that question on Collin’s show about 12 years ago. But yeah “Belichick preached ball security.” 😂
Nobody has faith in the Niners. Keep us as the underdog all season! We love it. We trust in the Niners staff.
Apologize to mac jones Colin
