So, here’s here’s a couple predictions I got for you. First of all, all along I was Cubs in three, Cubs in three, you were Cubs in two. Either way, we still believe the Cubs are going three strikes by first strike out. I’ve got Tyion out pitching Darvish today. Both guys give up tons of home runs. I agree. Right. He’s made 25 starts, 24 home runs, something like that. Darvish has made 15 starts, 14 home runs. Which team hits home runs? The Cubs. The Cubs are the home run team. The Cubs. I think seven runs total scored in the first two games. I say the winning team scores at least eight runs tonight. Wow. Really? At least eight runs. And don’t you can hit me with the reality spray later if you need to. Well, we do just cuz you have chocolate on your face and you need to do a little bit of a windshield wiper. It was like going through a car wash the way I hose myself out. Luke, two things about that. Uh you Darvis, the last time he pitched in a playoff game at Wrigley Field, he lost because he was the Cubs back in 2020. So he doesn’t have good vibes in playoffs at Wrigley Field. So I’m with you. I think Tyome out pitches Darvish. My prediction is that we get two home runs and they come from Suzuki and PCA. I’m rocking his jersey because he’s been ice cold, but he’s the kind of guy that can just turn at the drop of a dime. I think PCA goes yard and I think Suzuki goes yard. But I uh I’m very pleased with this season and I would love to continue having seasons like this because this is way more fun than uh losing games obviously and not even being a contender in these conversations. And so I I’m content. You and Luke have been carrying a lot of the burden here at CHO Cubs like the last couple years. Grades. Yeah. He hasn’t played a full year. And I went on baseball savant and I tried to find pitchers bases prevention and bases given away. Okay. So, if you could take a wild guess, the lead, the tide for all of baseball in bases prevented is Matthew Boyd with nine. Why? Because of the pickoff, right? That definitely helps out. Paul Skins is high up there, Scooble is high up there. Ud, Darvish plus three, not even in the minus of prevention of three bases given away this year. So, not only does I think the opportunity that you said, steal some bases, get some get some chaos going, right? Get creative, get a little aggressive maybe early on. I think you Darish might be just the perfect pitcher to do what you’ve been talking about the last couple of days. What do you guys think about the same lineup? Uh Brandon in the live YouTube chat says, “But I thought we should have taken PCA out of the lineup.” Not that’s not in my wrong show, sir. Thank you for coming into ours. Listen, he’s he and Hap have had terrible at bats in this series so far, but it’s only two games and either one of them could flip it around tonight. clarify. I was lobbying for a different order. And you’re not, listen, despite the fact what of his some of his at bats have looked like, you’re not taking Kyle Tucker out of game three. You’re going to ride with him. You paid the price for him. If this is the end of his Cubs career, you’re going to ride with him to the bitter end if this is it tonight. Luke, what I’ll tell you is that in a different world, a healthy Kyle Tucker, you might have seen Hap on the bench, Tucker in right field, and Moar at the DH. Maybe. But the way Tucker cannot play the field, that’s right. Can’t do it. He’s got a DH. Yeah, I think the the first at bat from Matt Shaw in this game is going to be somewhat more crucial than the normal one. Nobody picked Bush. That’s a base hit. That’s a base hit. And here’s what I’ll say is that like normally, right, any other game, we would go, he looks great right now. Let’s see what happens on the second time through the order. But in a game like this, how many players does he see the second time through the order? I think he sees I think he goes two times through the order and that’s it. He’s at He’s at 35 pitches right now through two innings. You keep that stretch out, he’ll be at 70 at four. Yeah. And then you Oh, I’m going to get the chocolate out of my nose. My prediction is I think he goes into the fifth. I’m not sure if he finishes it, but I think he he’s in the fifth and we’ll see what happens. No, I think that’s solid. And and look, I mean, the rate that he’s going right now, he’s going to be in for a little while, 100%, which is great news for the Chicago Cubs. And it’s better to shorten it up because you really would rather just go JO, you know, and only really use the Palencia and the uh Kellers and the like you don’t really want to use many guys. And I think on top of that, he’s the one pitcher that, funny enough, right, I don’t think he’s had the best season of a starting pitcher in the Cubs rotation, but he is the one pitcher in this rotation that we will see more frequently pitch into the sixth and seventh inning of games, like deep into games. He is the one guy that has that type of capability. So, let’s just keep going. Yeah, keep going. Three outs at a time, right? Last six starts, 1.56 RA, I believe. I mean, like that’s He’s been on a heater. He really has, you know, and his arms fresh. Let’s go. Let’s get some runs. Marky Mark. Absolutely. We need some good vibrations. Marky Mark. Yeah. And you know, in any other situation, u Darvish is a great matchup for Kyle Tucker. Yeah, I think yes. I think Kyle Tucker, this is a type of pitcher that Kyle Tucker should be able to rope a liner into the right field bleachers typically. Typically, but I’m lowering it to just Can you get on base for us with a lead off Walker? The wind that I’m seeing with that um Arazz hit makes me think that the right-handed hitter cuz cuz going out it was going out to left field. Yeah, the wind is obviously going that way. I’m thinking the Seas Suzuki’s and the Carson Kelly’s and the Swanson’s maybe have the leg up here on the power unless Tucker goes opposite field which I don’t think he does very often right when it comes to home runs. Max sauce flash a little power. Did you get the chocolate out of your nose? Chocolate up there. No, I I I dug up there and I definitely got some chocolate out but I still smell like it must be way up there. All right, let’s go. King T. Come on. This is kind of funny. So, don’t forget, uh, Darvish apparently gave Suzuki a great scouting report about the Cubs and Wrigley Field. That’s why we signed him. So, Darvish kind of got Suzuki here.
