  2. Pretty much everyone we’d expect is playing, with some regulars swapped out for the three kids (Finnie, MBN, ASP).

    I have a hard time believing they don’t want at least one of them on the team now, but I honestly don’t know why Berggren is the odd man out before Rasmussen. It feels like Ras gets an automatic pass because he’s taller and heavier.

  4. I’m trying to think of previous seasons where they’ve strung prospects along until the preseason game only to send them packing afterwards. It’s usually dress rehearsal for the real thing.

    Did Kasper play the final preseason game last year?

    Jvr will eventually get time, probably. It’s hard to really say for sure because if Finne and MBN make the opening night roster, and the team goes on any sort of hot streak, they might not want to change a winning lineup. That is typically how old guys lose their spot. Still I don’t think they would waive him. If they’re going to ice this roster for opening night, I think they have to waive/trade at least one forward.
