  1. I guess that means Ostlund is healthy as i don’t think you can send an injured player down.

  2. I dont understand that though. I thought it was NHL or back to the minors? Or do AHL games qualify too and they can play 10 of those before getting sent back to the minors?

  3. I know people will disagree, but I would like to bring him up with Kesselring being injured, then send him down

  4. So happy Mrtka is playing in Rochester this season, I believe thats the best path for his development. I really like Komarovs game, think he should be the first call up to the NHL, I would prefer him in the lineup over Bryson

  5. I feel like Mrtka will be up here full time to start next year and very much look forward to that

  6. Mrtka going to the AHL is a desperation move. Why rush him into the AHL when he could dominate Jr’s for a year?

  8. I was way more impressed with Mrtka than Komorov in preseason play. I’m really torn with Mrtka and think he is too good and has nothing gain in juniors. Time to grow or die. AHL it is and if he flames out there, which I highly doubt, I believe they could send him back to juniors even then.
    The guy looks polished already though. Will he struggle with big guys out to crush him? Likely
    Will he adapt and keep groweing his game? I fully believe so. I was really impressed with him.
    Rock on Mrtka. Gonna be a good one for a long time.
