  1. Thanks for coming Cubs fans. Please spend some money at Mars Cheese Castle on the way home if you have any left after buying your scalped tickets.

  2. All the games of clenching and they lay a beautiful stress free game for us right away.

Obviously a great win. Some takeaways.

    1. Chourio 8/14 in playoffs so far. They need him. He’s built for this.
    2. They won with zero hrs and a bunch of hits. Exactly how they’ve done all year.
    3. Peralta did his job and honestly had very few stressful at bats.

All that being said, I’m being level headed. It’s STILL only one game. Doesn’t matter 9-3 or 1-0 or 11-0.

Need to pound early Monday night where the crowd will be lit.

  3. Cubs won’t go down without a fight. Solid win to kick the series off. Not it’s time to get back to work.

  4. What a fucken statement from this team today. This was 100% TEAM win, just not one guy today. The player of the game is the Brewers

IMO, these national announcers are just bad. The bias from them is front and center so many things said to try to discredit the game the Brewers had today, up till the end where ” You still need 11 more wins for the WS” with a very strong hint of doubt in the voice. Just awful.

O and BTW… not one HR by the Brewers and they SPANKED the cubs who hit 3.

Fuck the national media. Time to show them what the damn Brewers are.

And yes, I hope every one of you sucker cub fans who paid stupid amounts of money for tickets enjoyed the L.

  5. My William Contreras jersey is officially 3-0 now.

Two of those against the Cubs.

I’ll be at game 2 on Monday. Just saying.

  6. For chourio the day off tomorrow is good, but for the cubs tired bullpen I’d rather have played them again tomorrow instead

  7. Imagine being a Cubs fan who spent 3x face value for tickets and drove 90+ MPH on I-94 to witness that game
